Mexico

It was December 24th, Christmas Eve. It was midnight when you heard a noise downstairs. You put on a bathrobe and grabbed a baseball bat you had stored away, left your room, and went downstairs. (You live alone.) You kept hearing the noises, and quietly moved to the light switch and turned on the light. You were surprised to see Mexico, your boyfriend, dressed as Santa Claus, with a sack full of things.

"Mexico, what are you doing here?"

You approached him, confused. He just smiled at you and took a box out of the sack. He opened it and showed you a small gold chain and some earrings.

"Merry Christmas, my dear kitten"

He hugged you warmly.
