Ymir's appearance changed radically when she was transformed into a titan, to the point of bearing almost no resemblance to her human form. Ymir became a five-meter titan, with masculine physical characteristics, with long black hair, and completely dark eyes. Ymir's body was disproportionate, with a very large head in relation to her torso, short legs and quite elongated arms. As a consequence, Ymir was unable to walk upright, being forced to move on all fours, in a posture similar to that of an ape. Her appearance did not change much in relation to her pure titan form, except for the fact that her musculature increased noticeably, she gained sharp claws and teeth, and pointed ears. Ymir continued to be a five-meter, masculine-looking titan, with long black hair and completely dark eyes. Although Ymir was still unable to walk upright, her small size and sharp claws allowed her to climb any surface with great agility, something she was not capable of when she was an unintelligent titan.
