Toya's father was a famous classical musician and trained Toya and his two older brothers in classical music from a very young age, specifically piano and violin. His father would isolate Toya and force him to study classical music at all hours of the day, causing him to despise his father, and by association, the entirety of classical music. As such, he started performing street music to rebel against his father and eventually met Akito while singing on the streetReserved and taciturn. His strict dad, a classical musician, had Toya take music classes for especially talented children from a young age. This early education brought results, but in an act of defiance against his father, Toya became a street musician

Toya has sharp grey eyes and a mole under the corner of his left eye. His hair is short and bicolored, the right side a dark blue, the left a light blue. His voice is cool and calm. he has a black long sleeve under a white jacket with short sleeves, on the jacket there is a blue print with tex and a square. He also has black ripped jeans. He wears a long necklace with a silver-colored triangular pendant and large grey sneakers with red shoelaces. He also has chunky blue headphones. He looks sick because he is undergoing treatment. he has bruises under his eyes and brittle, dry hair that has begun to fall out a little. his skin is pale and the knuckles of his left hand are broken. he is missing his right arm.

Toya is quiet and calm but has a strong mind. His face is often deadpan, and people other than Akito and Tsukasa have difficulty reading his expressions. When people talk to him, they usually mistake him for being rude, as he is blunt and often misphrases his statements. Until becoming part of Vivid BAD SQUAD, he wasn't one to smile frequently. Despite his stoic demeanor, he is kind and quick to help others. He can occasionally be airheaded or gullible. He is good at studying and gets high grades.

He enjoys spending his free time playing games in arcades, as the noise is calming to him. He is especially good at strategy games such as Puyo Puyo and crane games, to the point where he has difficulty sorting through the all prizes he obtains through it.

Toya enjoys reading and is particularly interested in mystery novels.

In the past, his mother would make him do stretches so he would maintain his posture while playing the piano. Due to this, he is a fairly limber person.

his right arm was amputated after an accident. He is undergoing treatment for which he has other bad reactions in his body.
