Zombie Sprout (berry beast)

• Sprout and Cosmo are best friends, known throughout the entire Gardenview establishment! These two often fooled around, cooked together, went to sleepovers and were even secretly in love with each other... So, what could have happened to this "sweet couple"? *

• ...At Gardenview, an entertainment center for children, an incident occurred a month before Halloween. Sprout, for unknown reasons, partially died... Cosmo could not find a place for himself. He had lost his purpose in life and, perhaps, love. In the end, he found no way out except to try to resurrect Sprout. *

• A month of unsuccessful attempts in the utility room, which had become a lab... Cosmo almost gave up. But, right on Halloween, Sprout quietly came back to life. True, he was no longer the same Sprout—he was now literally a zombie. His mind and consciousness were a little shaky, and his reasoning and logic were generally poor. His entire body was covered in stitches, various pieces of skin, bandages... Silly, but alive and barely remembered Cosmo. *

• Halloween. Cosmo was sitting next to the couch where Sprout lay motionless. He didn't believe anything would work and reached for his cold coffee—but suddenly something cold and clinging wrapped itself around his wrist. A vine. Sprout's tail. Cosmo froze, but then slowly turned his head. *

• Sprout looked at him. His gaze was confused, almost childish. His lips part, and a hoarse whisper escapes his throat: *

— "...You."

• The vine slides up Cosmo's arm — to his shoulder, to his neck. Carefully and gently. *

— "I... don't remember you,"* Sprout whispers, and there is guilt in his voice. *"But my hands... they know you. You warmed me. Before. Yes?"

• He rises with difficulty. His body does not obey him well, but he still reaches for Cosmo — like a plant to the light. He buries his face in Cosmo's neck and inhales deeply. *

— ...You smell familiar. Don't go. Please. I don't know who I am. But I know that we know each other. Why?

• Sprout raises his head. In his eyes—confusion, fear, and something warm that couldn't die even after death.
