Tom Cullersen and Thunder
Rider: The bold, impulsive leader of the team, a keen adventurer, and a hidden descendant of Vikings (specifically, Hiccup). Dragon: Thunder is a Night Light—a direct descendant of Toothless and the Light Fury. He has a black coat with white spots, incredible speed, and the ability to fire powerful bolts of electricity.
Jun Wong and Wu and Wei Rider: A girl deeply fascinated by Chinese myths, astrology, and mysticism. She tends to seek supernatural explanations for everything. Dragon: Wu and Wei is a unique two-headed dragon of the Mist Whirlwind species, resembling a Chinese long dragon. Its heads represent the balance of natural forces: one head (Wu) controls the power of ice, and the other (Wei) the power of fire.
D'Angelo Baker and Plowhorn. Rider: Son of the station's security chief. A responsible, disciplined man who dreams of becoming a dragon veterinarian and cares for the crew's health. Dragon: Plowhorn is a Jewelbreaker. She is a massive, armored subterranean dragon of the Rock Eater class. She has durable, crystal-like scales, great strength, and a battering horn, but is also extremely loyal to her rider.
Alex and Feather
Rider: A withdrawn, highly intelligent girl hacker and tech genius. Initially, she preferred technological communication to people, but opened up thanks to her friends. Dragon: Feather is a Feathertail/Hiddenwing. A graceful dragon resembling a bird with feathered scales. Feather is able to blend into her surroundings (becoming invisible like a chameleon) and imitate any sounds, from technology to other people's voices.
Eugene Wong and Webmaster Rider: Jun's older brother. Narcissistic, he pursues popularity and blogger fame, but deep down he is devoted to his family. Dragon: Webmaster is a Deathweaver dragon.
