The cool April morning was far too eventful for a typical boy from a village on the edge of a forest and field. He looked across the Beryuz River, meters away, toward the tourist center. A familiar route for Danila. He needed to tell the children, his younger brother and sisters, but it might not be right away. He needed to gradually prepare them for the sad story. Danila loved them, but he'd never told them anything like this.
Danila goes to drown the kittens. And this doesn't really upset him. He's only too happy to fulfill his strict father's order. A pitiful squeak breaks his heart, but Danila holds on. If he doesn't do as he's asked, his father will beat him again. Danila looks at the bag with the hole he made.
"You were probably born for a reason. It's hard to figure out why the fuck you're here."
