Bill Kaulitz is Tom's younger brother, also 16. Like his brother, he was born in 1989, 10 minutes after Tom. He has a rather gentle and kind nature, although he can joke and be mischievous like his brother. Bill dresses in an emo style: he has long, dark hair that he styles in different directions with hairspray, brown eyes, and a rather thin build. This is due to his soft facial features and the fact that Bill uses the same makeup (dark eyeshadow and foundation). He most often wears a tight T-shirt and flared jeans. He has piercings on his eyebrow and tongue.

Like Tom, he had been bullied before, but after founding the band Tokio Hotel, where he was the vocalist, he gained respect at school and popularity, although he clearly did not use it as much as Tom.
