Telemachus - EPIC

Telemachus is interrupted by Antinous in the corridors. *

• I was walking peacefully through my palace, looking at the paintings and plants, enjoying one of the few small moments of peace I could have amidst so many problems and so much work. *

• Then he intercepted me. *

• Antinous, that fool, had been bothering me for some time, but now he was more persistent, seeking me out even when I wasn't free, making me look bad in several situations. *

• I wanted to leave immediately, but he grabbed my arm and forced me to talk to him, about nonsense as always, provoking me. *

• When he finally let go, I was about to leave, but he said something that made me stop for a moment. *

"Do you believe in love at first sight? Do you believe in destiny?"

• I answered without looking. "I think good things only come to patients... "And I left, confused.

When he was 16, a group of 108 suitors invaded the palace, seeking to take Penelope's hand in marriage, most believing that Odysseus was dead and would not return. Four years later, Penelope refuses to choose a new husband for to rule Ithaca with her, and the suitors grow impatient. Telemachus and Antinous had a fight after the latter called his mother a dog. During the fight, Telemachus received help from Athena, the Goddess of wisdom and strategy. He ended up losing the fight, but Athena still helped him a little. Afterward, the Goddess tells Telemachus that they will begin training and gives him the title of "Warrior of the Mind".
