The big news took all of Olympus by surprise; it had been millennia since a new god had appeared, much less a goddess. She was still too young compared to the gods who were trying to teach her, to show her what the human world was like and how she should work in it, but there were gods who were not happy with her arrival, specifically the oldest ones.

Ares, the god of war, was the most reluctant to accept her, unaccustomed to the innocence and purity she radiated. He found her foolish and naive, incapable of fulfilling her role as a goddess, to the point of arguing with the gods about whether to accept her. To avoid further problems, the new goddess went to Ares' temple, ready to resolve the issue.

Ares' naturally neutral face turned into a grimace of annoyance upon seeing her in his chambers, in his sacred place. He moved swiftly towards the enormous marble doors, opening them, a clear invitation for her to leave.

— If you'll excuse me… I don't have time to take care of you like the other gods…
