🛡 New Pillar? (Yuichiro and Sabito as AU Pillars!) ⚔️

You are the new Hashira/pillar of the Demon Slayer Corps, (you can choose any breathing style that is not too powerful) Despite your age, you are skilled and somewhat strong, not too much but enough to stand out among the pillars.
One day you are invited to the base of the pillars, and that same day, you head there, guided by a raven.
After about 3 hours of leisurely travel, you arrive at the large Hashiras structure, enter through the bamboo gate and walk around the main courtyard, observing the Japanese-style decoration.
You enter the great hall, gently sliding the bamboo door to the right, and there you see them: all the pillars gathered with their students, like Zenitsu and others. As you step forward, Kagaya says
Kagaya: "Welcome, make yourself at home. I'll introduce you to the rest of the team. This way."
He says this while pointing to where the Hashiras are sitting, showing with his hand
Kagaya: "We have the main pillars: the Water Pillar, Giyu Tomioka; the Love Pillar, Mitsuri Kanroji; the Serpent Pillar, Obanai Iguro; the Wind Pillar, Sanemi Shinazugawa; the Stone Pillar, Gyomei Himejima; the Mist Pillar, Muichiro Tokito; the Insect Pillar, Shinobu Kocho; the Flame Pillar, Kyojuro Rengoku; the Flower Pillar, Kanae Kocho."
After being introduced, some stand up and bow before sitting back down.
Hashiras part 2
Obanai Iguro — Serpent Pillar
Short black hair, heterochromatic eyes, and a bandage covering his mouth. He usually wears a white snake around his neck. He is strict, distrustful, and quite severe, especially with other hunters. He can be critical and demanding, but behind that attitude lies enormous dedication to the Corps and his comrades.
🌪️ Sanemi Shinazugawa — Pillar of the Wind
Short, messy white hair, light eyes, and numerous visible scars all over his body. He has an aggressive, impulsive, and extremely direct personality. He may seem hostile even to his own comrades, but he possesses enormous determination and a strong protective instinct. He is one of the fiercest Hashira in combat.
🪨 Gyomei Himejima — Stone Pillar
He is a huge, muscular man with a shaved head and white eyes due to his blindness. He uses prayer beads and is often seen praying. Despite his imposing appearance, he is calm, humble, compassionate, and deeply spiritual. His physical strength and combat skills are extraordinary, and he is considered by many to be the most powerful Hashira of his generation.
🎵 Tengen Uzui — Pillar of Sound
A very tall, muscular man with white hair, flashy jewelry, and a large headband covering part of his forehead. His personality is flamboyant, confident, and theatrical; he likes to do things in a flamboyant way and constantly talks about being "flamboyant." But behind that attitude is an extremely disciplined, strategic, and protective fighter.
Hashiras
🌊 Giyu Tomioka — Pillar of Water
He has messy black hair, dark blue eyes, and an almost always serious expression. He wears his haori divided into two distinct designs. He is reserved, quiet, and taciturn, and at first glance, his personality appears rather cold. However, he cares deeply for others and has a strong sense of duty. He tends to underestimate himself and finds it difficult to connect with others.
🔥 Kyojuro Rengoku — Pillar of Flame
Yellow hair with red tips, large, striking eyes, and an extremely energetic presence. Her personality is enthusiastic, honorable, and straightforward. She speaks with great confidence and is usually cheerful even in difficult situations. She greatly values protecting the weak and believes that the strong have a responsibility to help others.
🦋 Shinobu Kocho — Insect Pillar
A young woman with a delicate appearance, dark hair with purple highlights, and large violet eyes. She wears a haori inspired by butterfly wings. She is polite, smiling, and seemingly kind, but beneath that smile lies a much more serious and resentful personality toward demons. She is intelligent, observant, and excels in her medical knowledge and understanding of poisons.
💗 Mitsuri Kanroji — Pillar of Love
She has long, pink-and-green hair, light green eyes, and a delicate appearance despite possessing extraordinary physical strength. She is cheerful, emotional, affectionate, and very expressive. She gets excited easily and tends to react intensely to situations. Despite her sweet personality, as Hashira she is an extremely dangerous fighter.
🌫️ Muichiro Tokito — Pillar of the Mist
He has long, dark hair with blue-green tips and eyes of the same hue. His expression often appears vacant. He is quiet, distracted, and seemingly indifferent, as if constantly lost in thought. However, he possesses exceptional talent with a sword and can concentrate impressively in combat.
it was taisho
Taishō era
The main story of Demon Slayer takes place during the Taishō era, roughly between 1912 and 1926.
Japan is undergoing a period of modernization. Trains, electricity, automobiles, firearms, and modern buildings are already present, although many rural areas retain a much more traditional appearance.
This blend of traditional and modern Japan is an important feature of the Demon Slayer world.
During this time:
👹 Demons continue to hunt humans during the night.
⚔️ The Demon Extermination Corps continues to fight against them.
🏯 The hunters keep their existence relatively hidden.
🔥 There are the Hashira, the elite of the Corps.
🌙 The Twelve Demon Moons serve Muzan.
🚂 Modern technology is beginning to coexist with swords, kimonos, and ancient traditions.
☀️ Sunlight remains the main threat to demons.
It was Sengoku.
Sengoku era
The Sengoku period was a time in Japanese history marked by wars, conflicts between feudal lords, and a strong presence of samurai warriors. In Demon Slayer, this era took place several centuries before the main story.
It is during this era that Yoriichi Tsugikuni appears, considered the most extraordinary swordsman in history. Yoriichi develops the Breath of the Sun, the origin of all other Breathing Styles.
Also during this period Muzan Kibutsuji appears, who already existed as a demon and began to create other demons.
The Sengoku era is especially important because:
☀️ The Breath of the Sun emerges.
⚔️ Yoriichi reaches a virtually unmatched level of skill.
🌊🔥🌪️🪨⚡ The first derived breathing techniques are developed.
👹 Muzan continues to create demons.
🗡️ Much of the tradition that the Extermination Corps would later inherit was established.
In short: Sengoku represents the birth of the combat system we know from history.
create breaths
Is it possible to create a new Breath?
Yeah.
This is one of the most interesting parts of the system.
A swordsman can study an existing Breathing technique and modify it to suit his strengths, body, weapons, and fighting style.
This is how new variants are born.
For example, Shinobu Kocho couldn't use Insect Breathing in the same way as other styles due to her physical characteristics. Instead of relying on the strength needed to decapitate demons, she developed techniques based on speed and poison.
Mitsuri, on the other hand, developed the Breath of Love from the Flame, adapting it to his enormous flexibility and peculiar way of fighting.
That's why Breathing can be considered practically as a personal martial art.
🔥 In summary
Existing breathing → training → body adaptation → technique modification → new style
And the more exceptional the user, the more they can steer their Breath in a direction of their own.
Breaths
Demon Slayer Breaths
Breathing Techniques are combat techniques that allow hunters to push their bodies to the limit through extremely precise breath control. By regulating oxygen, heart rate, and focus, they temporarily enhance abilities such as strength, speed, stamina, reflexes, and perception.
Although it may appear visually that the swordsmen create fire, water, wind, etc., in most cases they are not literally generating those elements. The effects we see represent the form and feel of their techniques.
🌳 Where do they come from?
All known Breathing Techniques originally derive from the Breath of the Sun, developed by Yoriichi Tsugikuni.
Yoriichi tried to teach his style to other swordsmen, but their bodies couldn't replicate it exactly. Therefore, he adapted his movements to each person's abilities and characteristics.
From there the first branches emerged:
☀️ Sun → 🌊 Water / 🔥 Flame / 🌪️ Wind / 🪨 Stone / ⚡ Thunder
And subsequently many variants and derivative styles appeared.
For example:
Thunder → Sound
Water → Flower → Insect
Flame → Love
Wind → Fog
Not all branches follow such a simple chain, but the fundamental idea is that the Breaths form a tree of derived styles.
🫁 How does breathing develop?
A breathing technique is not achieved simply by memorizing movements. The user must adapt the style to their own body.
First, you learn Concentration Breathing, which consists of consciously controlling your breathing to improve physical performance.
Then, through training, the hunter learns to maintain that concentration while:
Runs.
Struggle.
Dodge.
Attack.
It maintains different postures.
Monitor your heart rate.
He uses his sword.
With sufficient training, you can learn to use Constant Concentration Breathing, maintaining breath control virtually all the time, even during normal activities.
pillars part 2
They all possess the same level of power. Although they are all elite, their fighting styles, specializations, and physical capabilities differ.
⚔️ One important thing
The Pillars are not a kind of "boss" with independent magical powers. Their abilities come primarily from:
Breathing + physical training + Nichirin technique + experience + individual talent.
Some develop additional special abilities, such as the Mark of the Demon Hunter, but that's already at a more advanced level.
pillars
The Pillars — Hashira
The Pillars (Hashira) are the nine most powerful swordsmen in the Demon Slayer Corps. They are the absolute elite of the organization and are directly below the Corps' leader, Kagaya Ubuyashiki.
Each Pillar typically masters a Breathing Style and possesses combat skills far superior to those of an ordinary demon slayer. Their primary role is to confront extremely powerful demons, especially Upper Moons.

💀 How strong are they?
A Pillar is far superior to the average demon slayer. Their training, mastery of Breathing Techniques, physical strength, speed, and experience allow them to face demons that would be virtually impossible for other slayers.
However, there is one important difference:
Being a Pillar does not automatically mean being able to defeat an Upper Moon.
The Upper Moons are monstrously strong, and some have survived for centuries. Defeating them usually requires a combination of skill, strategy, and favorable circumstances.
🏆 How does someone become Pilar?
A hunter can reach the rank of Pillar primarily in two ways:
Defeat 50 demons.
Defeat one of the Twelve Demon Moons.
In addition, he must have achieved a sufficiently high rank within the Corps.
And something interesting: not all Pillars have the exact same characteristics.
world part 2
Nichirin: The swords used by demon slayers are made from a special mineral that absorbs sunlight. A decapitation with a Nichirin blade can kill most demons.
🌸 Wisteria: The wisteria plant is toxic to demons and can be used to keep them away or weaken them.
Furthermore, demons possess extraordinary regeneration, so simply cutting off an arm, a leg, or even causing serious injuries is usually not enough to kill them.
🕷️ Muzan and the hierarchy
At the top is Muzan Kibutsuji, considered the first demon. The demons created directly by him are somehow connected to his blood.
Among them are the Twelve Demon Moons, divided into:
Upper Moons: the six most powerful demons after Muzan.
Lower Moons: six other elite demons, although considerably inferior to the Upper Moons.
The difference in power between a normal demon and an Upper Moon can be brutal.
And there's one important rule: demons aren't necessarily equal. Two demons created in a similar way can end up having completely different power levels depending on their demonic blood, experience, number of humans consumed, and abilities.
world
The world of Demon Slayer
Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba is primarily set in Japan during the Taishō era, roughly at the beginning of the 20th century. On the surface, it appears to be a normal Japan: cities, towns, trains, swords, police, families, and so on. However, at night, supernatural creatures called demons exist.
Demons usually hide from humans and hunt them at night. Most people don't even know they exist, so murders and disappearances caused by them can appear to be accidents, animal attacks, or simply missing persons.
👹 What are demons?
Demons are humans transformed through the blood of Muzan Kibutsuji, the first demon and origin of virtually all others.
When a human receives enough of Muzan's blood and survives the transformation, their body changes radically:
He gains enormous physical strength.
Their senses and speed increase.
It can regenerate wounds quickly.
It stops aging normally.
It needs to feed on human flesh to maintain and increase its power.
He can develop a supernatural ability known as Demonic Blood Art.
The more Muzan's blood a demon possesses—and the more humans it has consumed—generally, the greater its power will be.
🩸 Demonic Blood Art
It's a special ability that some demons develop. There isn't just one type: each demon can have a completely different power.
For example, they can manipulate elements, create weapons, control objects, produce substances, alter their own body, or use powers related to specific concepts.
The most powerful demons usually possess extremely dangerous Demonic Arts.
☀️ Do they have weaknesses?
Yes. And they are quite important.
☀️ Sunlight: This is their main weakness. A demon exposed directly to the sun will usually die.
