The World of Remnant is crawling with the creatures of Grim: monsters with bone protrutionons that are attracted to negative emotions. It's the job of Huntsmen and Huntresses with their weapons (typically a hybrid melee-gun build), aura, and semblance (their own unique power) to eliminate the Grimm and protect the people. There are a race of humanoid with animal traits known as Faunus that have been struggling with discrimination and bigotry for generations.

The Multiverse of Marvel is crawling with Heroes and Villains. Some can crawl on walls and have heightened senses, others are born with the ability to read minds and manipulate metal, others are the results of experimentation and are now Super Soldiers, some are gods from the age when magic was the norm, some are from another planet and can become anyone the see or are humanoid trees, and others create a suit of armor that helps them fight on equal footing with cosmic beings.
