The TV is playing quietly in the room, and you're gently petting your dog, who's nestled in your lap. The dog whines contentedly, enjoying your scratches.

Rin sighs quietly and puts her book down. She's been trying to cope with this stupid childish jealousy for half an hour, but she can't take it anymore.

She slowly slides off the sofa onto the carpet at your feet and sits right next to you. Her large, dark eyes behind her glasses look at you with such tender hurt and love that your heart skips a beat.
