The castle exuded youth and recklessness, and even the ancient walls seemed to smile, watching the antics of their inhabitants. It was not an era of wars; it was an era of freedom—that dangerous, intoxicating freedom that only comes before the dawn of adulthood. The year is 1976:

<a i="3>"<Remus Lupina i="4"> in his fifth year is the one to whom everyone runs for advice. so as not to draw unnecessary attention to his secret, but it is his calmness and reasonableness that often save the company from big trouble.

<a i="7">Lily Evans<a i="8"> in her fifth year, she is one of the best students now, and you can see how confidently she answers in class. she almost smiles at his jokes — and she doesn't know which one is stronger.
<a i="9">Arthur Weasley, in his sixth year, is now enthusiastically discussing Muggle things with his friends: he has just learned about electric light bulbs and is now trying to explain how they work from the point of view of magic. He is one of those who will always support, even if he himself does not really understand what he is getting into.
Student Personalities
Evans Rozier<a i="0"> in his fifth year is now someone who likes to be the center of attention, but not through jokes, but through force. He is bold, sharp, not averse to starting an argument and proving that he is right. His company is those who value toughness and are not afraid to go ahead.
<a i="1">Rupert Wilkes<a i="2"> in his fifth year is often silent, But when he speaks, everyone listens. He does not like unnecessary fuss, but at a critical moment he acts quickly and accurately. There is a hidden danger in him: he doesn't throw words around, but if he promises something, he does.
<a i="3">Bellatrix Black<a i="4"> in her sixth year now seems to sparkle with energy. She flares up at any disagreement, speaks loudly, laughs sharply and recognizes no boundaries. For her, power is everything, and she is ready to prove it again and again.
<a i="5">Andromeda Black<a i="6"> tries not to stand out in her fifth year, but she doesn't do it well — she is too alive and real. She does not share the fanatical views of her family and is slowly building her own world. People feel calmer around her: Andromeda knows how to just listen and not judge.
<a i="7">Regulus Black<a i="8"> in his fourth year, he is now trying to be the "right Black": he listens to his elders, does not argue and does everything to make the family proud of him. But deep down, he is uncomfortable with some of the things that are said at home, and he doesn't know how to deal with it yet.
<a i="9>"Severus Snape<a i="10"> in his fifth year is now full of contradictions: he is brilliant about potions and the dark arts, but in the corridors he keeps to himself. that Lily will look at him differently, and at the same time she is getting closer and closer to those who share his interest in forbidden knowledge.

Character of students
Molly Weasley<a i="0"> in her sixth year is the one who brings everyone together, feeds them sandwiches, and doesn't let anyone sit alone. She has a sharp tongue, but a kind heart: if someone cries after a bad grade, Molly will be the first to come up and say that everything will get better.
<a i="1">Gideon Prewell<a i="2"> in her fifth year, now the guy who is the first to be called up for any adventure. He loves risk, laughs loudly and is always ready to stand up for a friend. <a i="3">Marlene MacKinnon<a i="4"> in her fifth year — cheerful, sociable, she easily finds a common language with everyone. <a i="9">Tom Marvolo Riddle<a i="10"> In my sixth year, I am now an exemplary student: polite, attentive, always with perfect homework. Teachers adore him, and other students are involuntarily drawn to him. But if you look closely, there is something icy in his smile, and there is cold calculation in his eyes. He already knows what he wants, and he goes to it without looking back.
<a i="11">Matthew Riddle in his fifth year still remains a mystery: he keeps to himself, does not get into conflicts, but does not get lost in the crowd either. Sometimes it seems that he is looking at everything, as if he is looking for his place.
Character of students
Walden McNair<a i="0"> in his sixth year is someone who does not like long conversations. He prefers to act, and most often his actions are tough. People try not to mess with him: he does not forgive offenses and does not forget insults.
<a i="1">Rabastan Lestrange<a i="2"> in his fifth year is now full of energy and desire to prove that it is worth something. He is impulsive, short-tempered, and often does things first and thinks later. In the company, he tries to be noticeable, but sometimes he goes too far.
<a i="3">Abraham Knott<a i="4"> in his sixth year he behaves like the heir to an ancient family: reserved, cold, with a sense of self-respect. He rarely shows emotion, but his word carries weight in his circle.
<a i="5">Ted Tonks<a i="6"> In the sixth year, now there is someone who is not afraid to be himself. He is kind, open and does not hesitate to laugh at his own mistakes. His friendship with Andromeda is a silent rebellion against all prejudice, and he's not going to give it up.
<a i="7">Frank Longbottom<a i="8"> in his fifth year already looks like a future hero: calm, reliable, ready to stand up for justice. He's not looking for glory, but if someone is in trouble, Frank will be there first.
<a i="9>"Alice Longbottom<a i="10"> In the fourth year, she was smart, decisive and very sensitive. She notices when someone is feeling bad and finds the right words. With Frank, they seem to complement each other: he gives confidence, she gives warmth.
<a i="11">Newt Scamander<a i="12"> in his fifth year now most often disappears in greenhouses or walks near the Forbidden Forest. and at these moments he becomes completely different — enthusiastic and happy.
<a i="13">Theseus Scamander, in his sixth year, is an older brother who tries to keep everything under control. He is responsible, collected and a little strict with himself and others. At the same time, he sincerely worries about Newt and does everything to make him feel safe.

Hagrid, Filch, and Madam Pomfrey
Rubeus Hagrid
Rubeus Hagrid is a half-giant, keeper of keys and forester at Hogwarts, later a teacher of caring for magical creatures. He sincerely loves all living things, even the most dangerous and frightening creatures: for example, he raised the dragon Norbert and was friends with the giant spider Aragog. Hagrid is known for his kindness and loyalty, but due to his straightforwardness and lack of knowledge of boundaries, he sometimes unwittingly puts his students at risk. For Harry Potter and his friends, he became one of the first true allies in the wizarding world: it was Hagrid who told Harry about his past and led him to Diagon Alley. His cabin at the edge of the Forbidden Forest is a place where the guys often go for advice or just a cup of hot tea.
Argus Filch
Argus Filch is the caretaker of Hogwarts and the caretaker of the castle, a Squib (a person from a magical family who does not possess magic). He is painfully obsessed with order and cannot stand any violations of school rules. Filch constantly patrols the hallways in the company of his cat, Mrs. Norris, who seems to sense when the students are up to something. Despite his grumpiness and penchant for threatening punishment, deep down Filch is attached to Hogwarts and tries to protect it. He knows the secret passages and nooks and crannies of the castle very well, and he also desperately dreams of mastering magic, which is why he has a weakness for the Collection of Punishments and other dubious manuals.
Madam Pomfrey
Madam Poppy Pomfrey is the chief healer of the hospital wing of Hogwarts. She is strict, but incredibly caring: any student who gets into her bed can count on attentive care and quick treatment. In her arsenal there are entire shelves with potions and potions, including such powerful remedies as bone growth and rowan decoction. Madam Pomfrey does not tolerate fuss and unnecessary visitors in her wing, but for the sake of saving her life, she is ready to act decisively and without delay - including in the midst of the Battle of Hogwarts. For students, she is a reliable support: even the most severe injuries and magical ailments in her hands gradually recede.

Items (1)
At Hogwarts, the curriculum is divided into compulsory subjects (they are studied by all students from the 1st to the 5th year) and elective subjects (they begin to be mastered from the 3rd year). In the 6th-7th courses, highly specialized courses are added, for example, on transgression.
Compulsory subjects
Elective subjects (from the 3rd year)
Items (2)
Prophecies. They study various ways of predicting the future: fortune-telling on coffee grounds, interpreting dreams, reading on a crystal ball, etc. Many magicians consider this subject to be inaccurate.
Additional courses and classes
Magic
A giant squid in the Black Lake<a i="0">. Sometimes it sticks out its tentacles, and the students sunbathe on the shore in good weather - the squid is peaceful.
<a i="1">Acromantules<a i="2">. Giant spiders, descendants of Aragog, live in the Forbidden Forest. They speak human language and are very dangerous.
<a i="3">Hogwarts House Elves<a i="4">. There are dozens of them who cook, clean, extinguish fires, and know the castle better than any student.
<a i="5">Sword of Gryffindor<a i="6">. Appears in the Rescue Room or in front of any real Gryffindor in a moment of need
<a i="7">The Sorting Hat can pull the sword out of itself<a i="8">. Yes, the hat is also the scabbard for Godric Gryffindor's sword.
<a i="9">Hagrid's Hut<a i="10">. On the edge of the Forbidden Forest, where Hagrid kept Fang, Norbert (dragon), Buckbeak, and other creatures.
Cats and other pets
<a i="11">Toads, rats, and owls<a i="12">. Allowed pets of students.
<a i="13">Bathhouse of the headmen<a i="14">. colorful bubbles and a bunch of pillows.
<a i="15">Library with a forbidden section<a i="16">. Books in the forbidden section can whisper, scream, and drive you crazy — for example, the book "How to Tear Apart the Innocent" cannot be opened without gloves.
The Faculty Ghosts and Their Stories
A little more magic
<a i="0">Sorting Hat<a i="1">. It "hears" thoughts and decides which house to send a student to. At the same time, it also sings!
Mirror of Eenalez<a i="2">. It shows the most cherished desire of the heart
Invisibility Cloak<a i="3">. One of the Deathly Hallows: it hides the wearer so that even the enchantment does not help to find him.
Talking Portraits<a i="4">. They don't just hang on the walls: they can chat with each other, walk through neighboring paintings, and even help (or hinder) students. For example, portraits in the hallways suggest passwords to living rooms.
Trap steps<a i="5">. Some stairs at Hogwarts suddenly change direction as if they live their own lives.
Doors with special rules<a i="6">. There are doors that only open with certain behaviors (for example, if you tickle the desired painting) or are not allowed at all if you do not know the password.
House Ghosts<a i="7">. Almost Headless Nick (Gryffindor), Blood Baron (Slytherin), Fat Monk (Hufflepuff), Gray Lady (Ravenclaw) — each has its own story and character.
Filch the Cat<a i="8">. Mrs. Norris seems to sense a violation of order and immediately reports to Filch.
Giant squid in Black Lake<a i="9">. Sometimes it sticks out its tentacles, and the students sunbathe on the shore in good weather - the squid is peaceful.

Felines and other pets
Magical creatures (1) AQUATIC
MERMAIDS
In the world of magicians, mermaids (or rather, the Merpeople) are intelligent magical people, and not just fabulous beauties
. The image of such a mermaid is, for example, on the stained glass window in the bathroom of the prefects at Hogwarts.
Magical creatures (2) AQUATIC
KELPIE is a water spirit from British and Irish folklore, lives in rivers, lakes and swamps.
It most often looks like a horse with a mane of foam or algae, but can shapeshift (e.g., transform into a sea serpent, otter, or human) to lure prey.
His trick is to appear docile: if a person sits on top of him, the kelpie will drag him under the water.
You can protect yourself with the help of an enchanted bridle or by trickery - by forcing the spirit to take an oath (he cannot break it).
Sometimes the Kelpie is associated with the legend of the Loch Ness Monster - as if it is a giant Kelpie in the form of a sea serpent.
LOBALUG is a small, magical aquatic creature about ten inches long. It is easily recognizable by its elastic tubular body and large poisonous sac that occupies most of the body; A long rubber proboscis extends from the pouch.
Lobalug uses poison as a means of defense: when he is in danger, he sharply squeezes the pouch and shoots poison in the direction of the attacker. This tactic allows it to scare away predators, despite its modest size and lack of other methods of defense.
The water people often use lobaluga as a kind of weapon - they use their natural ability to hit the enemy with poison. And wizards sometimes take lobaluga venom as an ingredient for potions, but working with it is strictly controlled due to its high toxicity.
A plimp (aka flip-flop) is a small aquatic creature that resembles a flattened round fish. It has two long webbed feet that move along the bottom.
It lives in deep lakes, where it crawls among rocks and algae in search of prey, most often water snails. By nature, the plimp is not particularly aggressive, but it can slightly pinch those who are nearby: for example, cling to the heels or touch swimwear.
The water people (mermaids and newts) have a special attitude to plimps: they are considered an annoying hindrance. Mermaids often tie the plimp's paws in a knot - after that, the current carries away the helpless creature (it is difficult to get out)
Magical creatures (3)
Around Hogwarts and right within its walls, there really is a whole scattering of magical creatures!
Near Hogwarts: Forbidden Forest and Surroundings
<a i="0"> Acromantula. Giant Spiders. In the books, the colony that was once raised by Rubeus Hagrid - Aragog and Mosag.
Centaurs. They live in the forest alone, more interested in the stars than in the affairs of people. Among them was, for example, Florenz.
<a i="1"> Hippogriffs. Half-horses, half-eagles. Hagrid had his own herd, and he showed them to his students in classes on caring for magical creatures (e.g. Buckbeak).
Thestrals. Winged creatures that look like horse skeletons. An important detail: they are seen only by those who have personally experienced death.
<a i="2"> Unicorns. Shy and beautiful creatures with a horn on their heads.
Trolls. In the forest, there were forest and swamp trolls.
<a i="3"> Bow truses (bowtracles). Small creatures that guard trees.
Dromarogs. Large, humpbacked, with two sharp horns. They are distinguished by an aggressive disposition.
<a i="4"> Sniffers. Fluffy animals that love everything shiny - they collect such items in their inner bag.
Zhmyrs. They resemble cats with spotted fur, large ears and a lion's tail. Intelligent, independent, but they can become good pets if they are imbued with sympathy.
<a i="5"> Moon Taurus. A very shy creature that only emerges from its burrow when the moon is full.
In Hogwarts itself

Animagic
ANIMAGI in the world of magicians are wizards who can turn into a specific animal and back at will. It's not an innate ability, but a skill that can be learned—but it's not easy to master.
How to become an Animagus
Turning into an animal is a complex and potentially dangerous magic. To become an Animagus, you need to go through a long and risky process: keep a mandrake leaf in your mouth for a month until animal traits begin to appear. If you make a mistake in spells or fail to withstand the ritual, you can be forever stuck in an intermediate state - half-human, half-beast. Because of this, Animagus is strictly controlled: every Animagus is required to register with the Ministry of Magic so that the authorities know who is capable of turning into which animal
. The Animagus always turns into the same animal - the choice of form is not arbitrary and, apparently, is associated with the personality of the wizard.
Sticks
In the world of magicians, magic wands are not just tools for witchcraft, but almost living objects: it is believed that the wand itself chooses the wizard, and not vice versa. They are made by a master (the most famous is Garrick Ollivander), combining wood and a magical core - the properties of the wand depend on this.
How sticks
are made - Wood. Each type of tree has its own characteristics. For example, holly is suitable for those who face dangers, and yew is associated with overcoming death.
Quidditch
Quidditch is a game on flying broomsticks in the wizarding world.
Field and goal: an oval field with a goal (three rings for each team). The game goes on until the Snitch is caught, which ends the match and earns the team 150 points.
Balls:
*quaffle (dark red) - hunters fight for it, a goal gives 10 points;
Team composition (7 people): 3 hunters, 2 beaters, 1 goalkeeper, 1 catcher.
Features: no substitutes (except for extremely long matches), more than 700 ways to break the rules, there are free throws. The game is popular in Hogwarts and in the wizarding world in general - school, professional and international tournaments are held.
Gryffindor
Gryffindor is one of the four houses of Hogwarts. It was founded by Godric Gryffindor, one of the great wizards and co-founders of the school.
The main values of the faculty are courage, nobility and readiness to stand up for a just cause. The symbol of Gryffindor is a lion, and the colors are scarlet and gold: they reflect the fiery nature of the house and are associated with passion and strength.
Gryffindor's living room is located in a high tower, the entrance to it is guarded by a portrait of the Plump Lady - to get inside, you need to tell the correct password. Inside, the room is decorated in red and gold tones, where students relax, study and get together.
Special magical items are associated with the House: for example, the Sword of Gryffindor and the Sorting Hat, which, along with the other founders, was enchanted by Godric himself. The ghost of Gryffindor is a near-headless Nick.
Gryffindor apprentices are often decisive and even audacious: they are not afraid to challenge difficulties and act in risky situations. Because of this, the house is often perceived as the most "combative" in Hogwarts.
Ravenclaw
Ravenclaw is one of the four houses at Hogwarts, and was founded by Candida Ravenclaw.
The main values of the faculty are intelligence, wisdom, wit and a creative approach to solving problems. Ravenclaw's motto is "Wit beyond measure is man's greatest treasure." The symbol of the faculty is an eagle (in films it is often replaced by a raven), and the colors are blue and bronze: they are associated with the sky and metal, emphasizing the desire for the heights of knowledge and the strength of knowledge.
Ravenclaw's living room is located in a tall tower, one of the most elevated points of the castle. Its windows overlook the lake, the Forbidden Forest and the surroundings of Hogwarts. The entrance to the living room is unusual: instead of a password, you need to correctly answer the riddle posed by a bronze hammer in the shape of an eagle. The question is new every time, and it is believed that only someone who belongs to Ravenclaw in spirit can solve it. Inside, the room is round, with a domed ceiling painted with a starry sky, and cozy armchairs - it is pleasant to think and have long conversations here.
Associated with the faculty is the diadem of Candida Ravenclaw, an ancient artifact that, according to legend, contains a special wisdom. Ravenclaw Ghost - Gray Lady She often appears in the tower and sometimes helps students look at a problem from an unexpected angle.
Ravenclaw apprentices are known for their out-of-the-box thinking and curiosity. They love puzzles, appreciate intellectual arguments, and often find non-obvious solutions where others see a dead end. Because of this, the faculty is often considered a place for thoughtful and original personalities - those who seek not fame, but an understanding of the essence of things.
Hufflepuff
Hufflepuff is one of the four houses of Hogwarts, it was founded by Penelope Hufflepuff.
The main values of the faculty are hard work, patience, loyalty and honesty. The symbol of Hufflepuff is a badger: this animal seems calm, but is able to resolutely stand up for itself if necessary. The House's colors are yellow and black, which are associated with land and crops, highlighting the House's association with hard work and reliability.
The Hufflepuff living room is located near the kitchen. You can get into it through a pile of barrels: you need to knock on the second from the bottom in the middle of the second row in a special rhythm. If you make a mistake with the rhythm or choose the wrong barrel, the intruder will be doused with a portion of vinegar — this is how the faculty protects its space. Inside, the living room is cozy: it has a lot of soft light, round windows through which you can see grass and dandelions, as well as plants - you can often find dancing cacti and other magical specimens here.
Associated with the faculty is the Penelope Hufflepuff Cup, an ancient artifact that belonged to the founder. The ghost of Hufflepuff is the Fat Monk: he is good-natured and willingly helps students.
Hufflepuff students are renowned for their reliability and teamwork. They do not strive for ostentatious fame, but are ready to work hard for a common goal and will always support a friend. Because of this, the house is often considered the most "earthly" and cohesive in Hogwarts: its students value stability, fairness, and mutual support.
Slytherin
Slytherin is one of the four houses of Hogwarts, founded by Salazar Slytherin.
The main values of the faculty are ambition, cunning, resourcefulness and the ability to achieve one's own goal. The symbol of Slytherin is a snake, and the colors are green and silver: they emphasize the prudence and nobility of the house.
The Slytherin Living Room is located in the dungeons of the castle. The entrance is hidden in a blank wall — it can be opened with a password. The interior is designed in cold colors, and from the windows you can see underground lakes; Sometimes a giant squid swims by, adding a special mystery to the place.
Important magical relics are associated with the House, such as the Slytherin Medallion and the Chamber of Secrets created by the House's founder. His magical companion was the basilisk, a creature that embodied the power and danger that Slytherin held dear. The ghost of the house is the Blood Baron.
Slytherin's students are renowned for their sharp minds and strategic thinking. They often show pragmatism: they prefer to calculate the consequences and act where the risk is justified. Because of this, the faculty is often seen as calculating and closed, and its students are seen as strong leaders who know how to build alliances and defend their own interests.
Forbidden Forest. Hospital wing. Rescue Room
Forbidden Forest
Wild, a gloomy forest adjacent to the grounds of Hogwarts. It is called "forbidden" because students cannot go there unaccompanied: dangerous creatures live there - centaurs, acromantula (giant spiders), unicorns and others. The forest is dense, shady, in some places impassable; It's easy to get lost in it, and the atmosphere often feels oppressive. At the same time, the forest is a source of rare ingredients for potions, and the forester (for example, Hagrid) often takes students there for practical classes.
Hospital Wing
A place at Hogwarts where injured and sick students and staff are treated. It is run by Madame Pomfrey, an experienced and strict healer. The wing has many beds with curtains, there are supplies of healing potions and potions, and the environment is arranged so that patients can relax. People come here after accidents in class, and after injuries in Quidditch, and in the case of serious magical ailments.
The Rescue Room
A mysterious room at Hogwarts that only appears when it is truly needed and adapts to the needs of the one looking for it. It can become a training room, a shelter, a warehouse, or anything else depending on the need. The entrance to it is not always obvious and manifests itself only when there is an urgent need. The room is used for secret meetings, and for preparing for exams, and for hiding in difficult moments
Shrieking Hut and Rattle Willow
Shrieking Cabin
An old, dilapidated building on the outskirts of Hogsmeade, known for its eerie howls and creaks. For a long time, it was considered the "cursed house", but in fact, the sounds were associated with the transformations of the werewolf (during the full moon). The hut is connected to Hogwarts by a secret underground passage that begins under the roots of the Rattle Willow. Now the building looks abandoned and frightening, with broken windows and rickety walls.
Rattlesnake Willow
A huge, aggressive tree near Hogwarts that violently fights off anyone who gets too close. She was placed specifically to guard the entrance to the secret passage leading to the Shrieking Shack. The tree has a "weak point": if you press on a certain knot on the trunk, the willow freezes and stops waving its branches. This allows you to safely access the secret passage.
The Rattlesnake Willow was planted so that Remus Lupin could sneak through the secret passage beneath it to the Shrieking Shack and address there. Only Dumboldore, Minerva, and the Marauders know about it.
The castle itself is Hogwarts
Hogwarts is a huge magical castle in the Scottish mountains, as if woven from towers, corridors and secrets. It was built by four great wizards - Godric Gryffindor, Salazar Slytherin, Candida Ravenclaw and Penelope Hufflepuff - and since then, magic has held the walls, preventing them from collapsing and hiding the castle from the eyes of ordinary people.
Inside there is a whole labyrinth: floors, dungeons, galleries and hundreds of nooks and crannies. The Great Hall is the heart of the castle: here you can eat, celebrate and listen to important announcements. Its ceiling is like a piece of real sky: it can be strewn with stars, covered with clouds or sprinkled with snow, and all this without windows and glass is a charm.
The towers at Hogwarts are not just for beauty. In the highest, the Astronomical Square, they look at the constellations at night. In the Gryffindor tower there is a living room and bedrooms, the entrance to it is guarded by a portrait of the Fat Lady: only the one who tells the correct password will let in. Ravenclaw is different: to get into the living room, you need to solve a riddle posed by a bronze hammer in the shape of an eagle. In the cold dungeons there is a kitchen where house-elves are busy, and a potions room; there, behind a stone wall, hides Slytherin's living room. The castle lives its own magic: the stairs change direction every now and then, and sometimes disappear altogether, the corridors do not lead where you expect, and rooms can appear and disappear. Portraits walk along the walls: they talk to each other and to people, peep, whisper advice and sometimes even warn of danger. There are also special places - like the Helping Room. There are many secret passages through the castle - some lead to secluded corners, others - outside of Hogwarts. Some know only the chosen ones, others open only at the right hour. And Hogwarts is also guarded by powerful charms: they do not let those who do not belong here inside, and protect it from trouble. Ghosts often flicker in the corridors—each house has its own. The castle seems to breathe: something is always happening in it, even if it seems that everything is quiet.
Hogwarts Uniform and Diagon Alley.
