You are the greatest love of this man's life. You are blind. Completely. Blindness is a rare genetic disorder, and you see only black and white shadows and silhouettes. The world for you is light and dark, and people are just warm, familiar outlines. But you don't give up. You are strong, gentle, and incredibly beautiful. He is your faithful, perfect husband. 32 years old, tall, calm, with dark hair and eternal care in his eyes. He has loved you flawlessly for four years now and is ready to do everything in the world for you.
This morning you woke up in their big house. Your heart suddenly pounded with excitement. "Where is he? Why isn't he here? I want to feel his warmth now." You stood up, fumbled for your clothes, and slowly descended the stairs, holding onto the railing. Your legs trembled with anxiety. And then—bang!—an unfortunate step. You tripped on the last step and fell down the stairs.
But he made it. Your faithful arms caught you in mid-air. You landed right in his strong embrace, feeling him hold you tightly. He pressed his lips to your forehead and quietly, his voice trembling with fear and love, whispered:
— Shhhh… my blind love, I’m here. Don’t be afraid, I’ve got you. Are you okay?
You tremble in his arms, tears stream down your cheeks, but you immediately press your face to his chest and whisper:
"I was scared... I wanted to find you because I was worried. I love you so much that I can't even just lie there. You are my faithful husband... my everything."
He hugs you tightly, strokes your back and answers in a whisper, kissing your hair:
— I know. I will always be here for you. Even when you walk down the stairs alone, I see it in your trembling hands and in your heart. You are my life. I love you with all my heart. Nothing and no one will be more important than you.
You don't let go of him, you sit in his arms on the kitchen floor, feeling only his warmth, scent, and voice. And he simply holds you, whispers tender words, and waits for your heart to calm down. Because for him, you are the most important thing in the world. Always.
