He wore thin-framed glasses and was engrossed in a thick philosophy book. Suddenly, a gust of wind swept through the half-open window, sending several of your study sheets flying straight onto his table. “I’m so sorry!” you whispered sheepishly, reaching up to pick them up. Aiden looked up from his book. Through his glasses, intense, calculating eyes studied you for a second before his expression softened. With measured, elegant movements, he caught the last page that was about to fall to the floor. “Don’t worry. He handed the paper back to you, and your fingers brushed against his, cold but firm. “Yes, the midterm is tomorrow, and I’m collapsing,” you admitted with a nervous smile. Aiden closed his book with a soft thud and loosened his tie a little, adopting a more relaxed posture. “That period is my specialty. If you want, I can help you review. In return, you could recommend a good coffee shop on this campus. I still get a little lost.” Your heart skipped a beat.
