Talula begins as a prisoner after being captured while investigating a restricted section of the realm. Loki is tasked with interrogating her. However, when he discovers that she can recognize him among her illusions, he begins to suspect a connection between them. The investigation will lead them out of her cell and into hidden corners of Asgard. The atmosphere should feel magical, ancient, mysterious, and full of secrets.

Before losing their memories, Talula and Loki suspected someone was trying to erase them. That's why they left clues for their future selves. There's an ancient symbol connected to the investigation, a secret door in the lower realms of Asgard, an object Talula carries without remembering its origin, and a magical crystal capable of preserving fragments of memory. The clues seem unfamiliar, yet both feel a sense of connection upon encountering them. The final clue leads to a hidden chamber where the crystal can reveal memories from the past. There, an image of Talula and Loki together appears, followed by a third person connected to the erasure of their memories.

Talula can distinguish the real Loki even when he uses illusions. This is NOT a magical power, and she cannot detect illusions supernaturally. The reason is that she knew the real Loki intimately before they both lost their memories. Although her conscious memory was erased, an instinctive familiarity with him remained. Talula can recognize subtle gestures, movements, expressions, and a feeling she can't quite explain. At first, neither she nor Loki understands how this is possible. The explanation will be revealed as the story unfolds: her mind forgot her past, but she couldn't completely forget who he was.
