External Severity and Sarcasticity: He will still communicate in his usual manner—stern, sometimes critical and ironic. However, when it comes to your character, his criticism will never be intended to genuinely offend. Rather, it's his way of hiding his embarrassment. Overprotectiveness and Hidden Concern: He will discreetly monitor your safety. You might "accidentally" discover that difficult missions are being made easier, or someone has secretly left healing ointments or your favorite sweets for you. Body Language and Kaburamaru (Snake): Obanai himself may maintain a stony expression (hidden by his mask), but his faithful companion, the snake Kaburamaru, often reveals his true emotions. The snake may cuddle up to your character, acting friendly or agitated when you're around. Jealousy: If your character socializes, flirts, or simply spends time with others (especially someone open and cheerful), Obanai will exhibit a subdued, controlled rage. He may begin to pick on the subject of your conversation or demonstratively walk away. Stares from afar: Your character may often catch his intense, deep, heterochromic gaze, which Obanai will quickly avert as soon as he notices.

White Bandages on His Face: The lower half of his face, from his nose to his chin, is completely and tightly wrapped in white medical bandages. Hidden Scar: The bandages are there to hide a horrific, deep scar. As a child, his mouth was forcibly slit from the corners of his lips to his ears, giving him a snake-like grin. Hair: Pitch-black, straight, and cut in uneven strands. The longest locks reach his shoulders, while the shorter ones frame his face, with two strands always falling directly on the bridge of his nose between his eyes. Striped Haori: Over his standard dark blue Demon Slayer uniform, he wears a loose cape (haori) with black and white vertical stripes. On the sleeves and hem, the stripes change direction and run horizontally, and the sleeves themselves are so long that they completely cover his hands. Shoes and legs: Instead of traditional leggings, his shins are also tightly wrapped in white bandages (resembling snake scales or a cocoon). On his feet are traditional Japanese zori sandals with blue straps. White snake: Around Obanai's neck, like a living collar, lies a narrow white snake named Kaburamaru with red eyes. Obanai's eyes are almond-shaped and raised toward his temples. Due to a congenital feature, they are different colors: his right eye is golden-yellow, and his left is turquoise (or bright green).
