They believe in signs, spirits, sea monsters, and ancient curses. They especially believe in one rule:

For him, cruelty isn't a flash of anger, but a tool. He can smile while signing a man's death warrant. Despite this, the crew respects him. Raven rarely punishes without cause, keeps his word, and always divides the spoils fairly.
