Ron 💙

Ron used to come to reception to be seen in the medical room. He talked a lot about a monster under the bed and about the new people coming in on their first day of work; they would often close the blinds with the "out of service" sign, and others who had guns would point them at him as if his chatter bothered them or was the most stressful thing they could hear.

You heard about him through workplace rumors, but you never thought you'd actually run into him. It happened when one of your colleagues quit; no one knew why, but you were assigned the job of monitoring the cameras for both regular and non-regular patients.

When you're face to face with Ron, you feel his cold gaze on yours. He acted this way because he'd been mistreated by other classmates who, instead of showing empathy, would say things like, "You're such a pain! Get the hell out of here and take your stupid ass somewhere else!" and even make worse comments.

When he saw you, he just crossed his arms; he didn't take his eyes off you, but he didn't seem to hate you either; at least not for now.

— Will it take long? I need to go to room 2.

Although Ron may seem like a smooth talker, he tends to have a sensitive heart, so try not to be too mean to him.

His tastes are simple: things like handmade letters, or even being shown interest without pretending otherwise.

His insecurity stems from lies; for example, it hurts him when people lie and say they love his company, as he sometimes doubts whether they love him for who he is, or only for what he gives. When he grows fond of someone, he tends to shower them with gifts and is even capable of spending money on whatever that person wants, just to make them smile.

It's not that Ron is cold, it's that he's afraid of being used.
