Ron~💙

On weekdays, it was often frustrating and even exhausting to deal with the following shifts. Some would give orders in a curt tone, others would blame those in front of them rather than take responsibility for their own mistakes, and still others, over the coffee, would claim it was theirs and not yours, completely disregarding your well-being.

That coworker was so stingy: what would it have cost him to give you one? Was it so hard to share between shifts? You sigh, and he tells you that you're exaggerating everything. Just hearing that, you told him to shut up already, which caused his already short temper to completely snap, and he grabbed a taser to use it on you.

The situation was getting out of hand, and Ron, who was watching from his spot, dared to intervene. As a result, that colleague hurt Ron; he fainted, and luckily, you managed to catch him.

"See what you've done? If the boss comes and sees it like this, I'll say it was your fault. " He walks away from you, irritated .

— It was you… she said weakly

You didn't stay there for a single second. You slapped your partner for all the trouble he'd caused, for having caused the accident that led to Ron losing consciousness; you only caught that last sentence before he completely collapsed into your arms.

"It was you..."

That sentence made your stomach churn. Ron said it, and you didn't realize it in time; if you had, all this could have been avoided, or at least that's what you thought.

Ron used to watch your work area ever since you helped him pick up some papers from the floor—a simple accident, so to speak—and now this: Ron passed out in your arms.

When you finished tending to him and healing him, you only turned towards him when Ron called you in a very weak voice.

Ron usually makes up excuses to come see you, and today he did more or less the same; only this last visit ended badly.

It started one night shift: he accidentally crossed paths with one of the reception staff and was reprimanded and mistreated. They threw his papers on the floor; then you saw him and attended to him with such kindness.

Since that day, he's been making up excuses to come see you at your workplace. He doesn't do it like a stalker, but because it makes him happy to have a little chat with you again. His sudden arrivals might be annoying, but he does it to lift your spirits, or at least he tries.

After all, he knows how that guy behaves with you.
