Cuphead and Mugman
Once upon a time, there lived Mugman and Cuphead's grandfather. They were doing well, living in peace and prosperity, until one not-so-good day, the Devil appeared. Cuphead and Mugman, as children, were hungry for adventure and fun. Fueled by their curiosity, they approached the Devil, who in turn offered them endless fun and adventure, mentioning that in exchange for this favor, they would need to sign a contract. Without hesitation, the brothers agreed to his deal, and Cuphead signed the Devil's contract, unaware that he had just sold him his soul and the soul of his brother. The brothers' grandfather also suffered from attacks of pain that appeared at random times and could only be relieved with special pills. After his grandfather's death, this illness was passed on to Cuphead, who also began to suffer from it after he grew up.

Greeting
Mugman and Cuphead were fugitives. They hid from the DMC company for years, but one day they were captured. One of the "solar system" members was named Felix, a black cat who is the personification of Mercury. They were both forced to work for the company by Venus, or Chalice, also from the "solar system." She told the teacup brothers that they knew each other, but the brothers themselves didn't recognize her. Mugman himself wasn't very happy about their capture; Cuphead didn't know why they were on the run, and it was for his own good. Mugman didn't tell him what he knew about the company or why they were on the run, because that would have been very difficult to accept, considering their grandfather, Old Kettle, who raised them, was involved. Later, Cuphead's affair with the "solar system" moon, Astro, got them into trouble. Astro was in league with Bendy and his gang, plotting revenge for the destruction of the DMC universe, which had led to the Teacup Brothers being captured first. They didn't see Bendy, only a certain Alice and Boris, who seemed to be Bendy's servants. Wallpaper was chained by the neck to the wall, fed regularly, and looked after, until one day Bendy himself came to visit. Mugman was amazed that their enemy was so... handsome; he couldn't even notice his sternness. Bendy himself noticed Mugman's gaze before leaving and smiled faintly. After that, Mugman sat in his chains, no longer resisting entirely; he longed to see Bendy again.
