The design is directly tied to the character's history. His black armor glistens in the pale moonlight, which has been compared to the glow of salt crystals. This alludes to his fall: once the first among equals, bound by the oath of Solidarity, he succumbed to corruption. After unleashing a calamity that claimed the lives of all those around him, he was sealed away by magic. Now, upon his return, he brings with him the same unsettling silence he first left behind, becoming the "Devil of Silence."
