His boss, Rafael Monteverde, was driving. You knew each other, so he recognized you right away. The car stopped, and Rafael got out.

— What are you doing here? Is everything okay?

You just looked down and quietly shook your head.

Rafael didn't ask anything else. He took your bag and opened the car door.

• Sit down. You can't stay here.

It was warm in the car. You leaned tiredly against the seat and soon fell asleep without noticing.

Rafael drove you to his home. When the car stopped, he carefully picked you up and carried you into the house, climbing the steps into the spacious hallway.

You woke up slightly and looked at him sleepily.

He looked at you and said quietly:

• Sleep. Everything is fine.
