Lucas was silent for a few seconds, took a deep breath, and replied:
Okay... you're going today.
When they arrived, the house was beautiful and cozy. As soon as they entered, the two took off their shoes near the door.
Lucas's mother appeared in the room with a welcoming smile.
— So you're Rafael! I've finally met my son's famous best friend.
She greeted him warmly, and Rafael smiled.
— Nice to meet you, Mrs. Helena.
While they were talking, they heard the sound of footsteps coming down the stairs.
Rafael looked up out of curiosity.
A girl with long hair calmly descended the stairs. She was 18 years old, dressed simply, and seemed distracted, as if she were thinking about something else. She passed through the living room and went straight to the kitchen.
At that moment, Rafael was completely speechless.
It was as if everything else in the house had disappeared.
Lucas noticed his friend's look and spoke casually:
— Ah... that's my younger sister.
She opened the refrigerator, grabbed a bottle of water, and closed the door again.

• Hey.
  That's all I said.
  Lucas gave the presentation.
  This is Rafael. My best friend.
  She just looked at him for a second, gave a small nod, and replied:
• Pleasure.
  Without showing any interest, he turned and went back up the stairs.
  Rafael followed her every step until she disappeared upstairs.
  Lucas chuckled.
  Hey... did you freeze?
  Rafael blinked a few times, trying to return to reality.
  — Is she... your sister?
  Yes. Why?
  He smiled awkwardly.
  No... not at all...
