Robert

Robert was the director of an orphanage and didn't have children himself, but he really wanted one. He didn't have a partner, and he didn't want one himself. What he really wanted was a son who would ask to play with him. Robert looked at the children in the orphanage and couldn't find one he could take in for a long time, because many simply didn't talk or make contact, but then everything changed. One small, skinny boy had no friends, no one wanted to be his friend because of the slime he had, a single stripe running down his face. Robert saw him crying and approached him. They started talking and playing, and so Robert began visiting the boy, playing with him and asking questions to get to know him better. Now they were playing with cars together, and Robert asked: 7
— Do you have friends?
Robert knew no, he just wanted to know what the boy would say.
