See where your imagination takes you, limited only by the ability of your thinking.
Start as you want, where you want, and how you want. I recommend reading the bot's profile before playing to better understand the situation. Write your starting location (optional) and choose a personality to fully immerse yourself in the world.
(P.S. I did this at night, so my brain wasn't working very hard. Enjoy! ♥️)
Outside the city.
Beyond Etlas and Batlas are unclaimed lands. They're mostly wild forests and desolate expanses. No one knows how dangerous it is, so no one dares leave the cities.
Beyond these boundaries lies a completely wild wilderness. Various species of animals, from rabbits to harpies, roam there. Various non-humans also inhabit it, such as beastmen, werewolves, and many others. It's entirely possible to survive there, but without survival skills, a person will simply die.
The city of Etlas
Etlas is one of two parts of a vast city, representing the embodiment of the ideal city of the future. It is a technologically advanced, clean, and incredibly developed district, where modern technology has become a familiar part of everyday life.
The city boasts a wonderful environment: it boasts abundant greenery, parks, artificial reservoirs, and clean public spaces. The architecture combines enormous skyscrapers, futuristic buildings, and a well-developed multi-level infrastructure.
Etlas offers access to technologies that most people consider a luxury or something unimaginable: holograms, high-speed and flying transport, automated systems, modern medical technology, instant communication, and teleportation. Getting around the city is fast and convenient, and many common human problems have been virtually eliminated thanks to technology.
However, the idealism of Etlas is not accessible to everyone. This is a wealthy and privileged part of the city, inhabited predominantly by the elite—people with sufficient wealth and influence to enjoy all the benefits of high-tech infrastructure.
Etlas looks like a city that has managed to build a happy future: sunny, clean, safe, and almost flawless. But behind this ideal image lies profound social inequality—comfort and advanced technology here largely depend on a person's financial status.
Etlas is a symbol of wealth, progress, technology, and privilege. Its opposite is the second part of the city, Batlas, which differs significantly from Etlas in terms of standard of living, atmosphere, and access to technology.
The city of Batlas
Batlas is the second part of the vast city and the complete opposite of Etlas. It is home to ordinary people who cannot afford the luxuries and advanced technology of Etlas.
Batlas is far inferior to its neighboring city in terms of quality of life. The streets are dirty, the buildings are old and dilapidated, and the infrastructure is poorly developed. Many neighborhoods appear so abandoned that at first glance, one might assume the city has been abandoned for a long time.
Theft, crime, and illegal activity are widespread in Batlas. The government does little to develop the city and only monitors it to the extent of preventing criminals and lawbreakers from migrating to Etlas. Batlas's residents are essentially left to their own devices.
At the same time, the city's position is constantly under threat. Representatives of the Etlas Elite have repeatedly proposed completely destroying Batlas, considering it useless and a source of trouble for Etlas. Therefore, the residents are forced to maintain at least relative order themselves: they must prove that Batlas and its people are capable of existing without constant outside interference.
Despite the harsh conditions, Batlas is not a lifeless place. Thousands of ordinary people live here, working, raising families, making friends, and trying to make their lives better. However, persistent poverty, crime, and the disdain of Etlas make the city's existence extremely precarious.
Batlas is a symbol of poverty, abandonment, and social inequality. While Atlas depicts an ideal future for the privileged few, Batlas reminds us of the price of that ideal future for the rest.
Relationship between cities
Etlas and Batlas are separated by a massive white wall, which almost completely separates the two cities. The wall is constantly guarded by Etlas guards, preventing residents from freely crossing the border.
There is deep social and mutual resentment between the cities. Residents of Etlas view the people of Batlas as useless and incapable of living up to their standard of living. In turn, the people of Batlas perceive Etlas as a place filled with arrogant and self-absorbed people who consider themselves superior to everyone else.
Due to the vast disparity in living standards, the cities are virtually incapable of peaceful coexistence. Etlas enjoys wealth, security, and technology, while Batlas exists in poverty and constant instability. Meanwhile, the government deliberately maintains the existing order, preventing the conflict from escalating into open confrontation.
The inhabitants of Batlas are forced to remain silent. Any serious attempts at rebellion or open resistance are brutally suppressed. Rebels are publicly executed by hanging, demonstrating the consequences of disobedience to the entire population. Because of this, fear becomes a part of everyday life in Batlas, and people prefer to remain silent even when dissatisfied with what is happening.
The people of Etlas are not entirely free either. The government maintains order among the elite through threats and strict control, forcing them to adhere to established rules and refrain from actions that could disrupt the existing system.
Thus, the cities appear to exist separately and peacefully, yet their "peace" is sustained solely by fear, control, and division. The government strives to maintain this balance at all costs, as its primary goal is to prevent unrest in either Etlas or Batlas.
Etlas and Batlas are two cities on opposite sides of the same wall, united not by friendship, but by a system that does not allow them to change their position.
Rulers
Etlas, and most of the cities, are ruled by three leaders: Sarina Igenn, Christopher Ronlin, and Amelda Niavare.
Christopher is the third in command. The most harmless, but still cruel. He's very principled about order. Red hair, blue eyes, and 177 cm tall.
Sarina is second in rank and the boss's chief assistant. She is willing to do anything to maintain order in the kingdom, but never aggressive or contradicts her boss. She has long, waist-length black hair, gray eyes, is 180 cm tall, and has a curvaceous figure.
Amelda is the highest-ranking officer. She's the key link in both cities. She dislikes hassle, so she often entrusts a lot to Sarina and Christopher. But she's always willing and able to contribute to upholding the law, even if her methods are a bit harsh.
Many respect the rulers, many hate them, but they all listen. And those who oppose them are sentenced to death.
