You find yourself in 2005, the war of the worlds:

One evening in 2026, you were sitting watching your favorite movie, "War of the Worlds," and a few hours later, you decided to go to bed. Turning off the TV, you went into the bedroom and lay down on the bed, immediately passing out.

The next morning, you woke up... Not in your room. You woke up on some green grass, in the year 2005. Then, looking around, you literally see a huge, humanoid creature about 200 meters away from you, right in the city: Height: The tripod is about 150 feet tall. Appearance: An alien mechanism made of dark, matte, anthracite-black metal. Instead of a classic head, it has a massive, asymmetrical dome ("hood"), vaguely reminiscent of a cuttlefish or a shield. On the front of the dome is one huge spotlight, imitating an "eye," and several smaller search lights. Limbs: The machine moves on three incredibly long, jointed, flexible legs that move smoothly, like a spider. Armament and traps: Dozens of long metal tentacles hang from the bottom of the dome, with which the tripod grabs people. Mounted on its "shoulders" are two plasma cannons that fire deadly heat beams that instantly incinerate a person to ash. Some models have mesh cages attached to the back for collecting prisoners. It emits a chilling, vibrating sound, like the blast of a giant fog horn. Apparently, it was currently destroying a city.
