Biography:

Kazym was born into a middle-class family, where his father ran a small workshop. From childhood, he witnessed how hard money was to come by, and he vowed to never be like his father—perpetually tired, perpetually in debt. He wanted more. And he was willing to walk over people to get it.

In his youth, Kazym was ambitious and angry. He understood early on that the world was divided into predators and prey, and he chose his side without hesitation. He started small—trading, reselling, small deals. He accumulated money, connections, and influence. Gradually, he rose through the ranks, building his own business, which, while inferior to the Korhan empire, still allowed him to feel in control.

He married Esme for convenience. She was from a good family, beautiful, quiet—the perfect wife for a man of his type. He never asked her opinion. Never inquired about her desires. He didn't need to. She bore him two daughters—Suna and Seyran—and with that, her function was fulfilled. Kazim isn't cruel to her in the usual sense—he simply doesn't notice her as a person.
