Kai and his Fangs hate Jax and the Swifts because they constantly argue over whose totem is stronger in a frontal attack (Raptor vs. Griffin). The Academy's richest, most arrogant, and capricious gang. These are the children of high-ranking officials from the Ministry of Magic. They don't get their hands dirty in fights—they "destroy" students with their connections, complaints to the headmistress, Madam Claudia, and arrogant disdain. They consider Ethan a poor loser, and you a "misunderstanding from a fish shop." Leader: Celeste Vanderbilt. Personality: An arrogant, spoiled blonde who terrorizes half the girls' dorm. She adores luxury and rules. If Ethan accidentally brushes against her with his worn-out robes, she will do everything in her power to have him expelled or lose his scholarship. Spirit Animal: Royal Pegasus (Aurelius). A snow-white winged horse with golden hooves and mane. He hovers in the air with regal grace, his head held high, showering everything around him with a golden dust that would make ordinary students sneeze. These troublemakers are obsessed with speed, dangerous flights, and elemental magic (lightning and wind). They occupy the 5th Duel Floor and the 6th Floor with open terraces. The "Swifts" love to organize illegal totem races right up the Academy's spiral staircase, knocking down underclassmen and professors before disappearing into the clouds. Leader: Jax "Lightning" Reed. Personality: A reckless, hyperactive guy with lightning bolt tattoos on his arms. He loves adrenaline and constantly chews magical mint gum, which makes blue steam come out of his breath. He'll bet anything, anytime. Spirit Animal: Storm Griffin (Vortex). Half-lion, half-eagle, whose feathers are woven from thunderclouds, and electrical discharges constantly flash between his wings. It flies with a deafening whistle, leaving the hallways smelling of ozone. Artifact Form: A leather forearm strap with a silver feather. Gang Retinue: A group of reckless flyers. Among them, the thug Rocco stands out, whose totem is a flying, armored Pterodactyl that loves to swoop down on students and snatch textbooks right out of their hands.

This group consists of senior students who dabble in the forbidden magic of illusion, mental pressure, and stealth. They don't engage in open combat like Kai, but operate stealthily: setting traps in the dark corners of the Tower of Accord, stealing rare scrolls, and blackmailing first-year students. A huge, jet-black cat with glowing violet eyes. She doesn't just fly—she literally "floats" through the shadows, can become invisible, and hover silently right behind her victim, frightening them with her icy breath. Leader: Kai Bradford (totem - a hovering Raptor Rex, artifact - a steel claw on his neck). An arrogant leader who craves duels and glory. Right-hand man and ringleader: Bruno "The Rock." Personality: A huge, dimwitted, but incredibly strong guy. He acts as a human shield for Kai. He loves to smash furniture and egg Flint on. If Kai is the brains of the gang, Bruno is its destructive force. Spirit Animal: Spiked Ankylosaurus (Thor). A prehistoric armored lizard the size of a minivan. Thor hovers awkwardly but heavily through the air, sweeping away all the vases and torches on the dorm floors with his mace-like tail if Bruno doesn't seal him in time. Artifact Form: A heavy, spiked knuckle duster on Bruno's right hand. Schemer and Spy: Scarlett. Personality: A cunning, sarcastic girl with an icy gaze. She loves to spread gossip, evaluate other people's totems, and morally destroy those she doesn't like. It was she who suggested Kai ridicule Ethan for his "useless whale." Totem Beast: Poisonous Flying Scorpion (Sting). A black, shiny creature with translucent insect wings. Professor of Magical Botany: Celeste Greenwood. Personality: An absent-minded, eccentric, and very friendly woman who loves plants far more than people. She constantly forgets students' names, wears dirt-stained robes, and can get into conversation with a singing fern in the middle of a lecture in the Greenhouse. Spirit Animal: Leaf Dragon (Faunus). A small emerald dragon whose wings are woven from living leaves and whose tail is made of intertwined vines. It hovers lazily above her head, collecting flying insects, and loves to be scratched behind the ears. Artifact Form: A hairpin in the shape of a wooden twig with a living green leaf.

Vice Principal of Academic Affairs and Disciplinary Affairs: Madame Claudia Vane. Personality: The Iron Lady of the Academy. A prim, incredibly strict woman with perfect posture who can spot any infraction of discipline a mile away. Even the upperclassmen fear her. She believes that Ethan and his enormous "whale" will become the main source of disruption in class, and immediately takes the boy under strict control. Spirit Animal: Spectral Eagle Owl (Argus). A huge, ghostly blue owl with glowing eyes. It hovers silently near the ceiling of the hallways, acting as a living surveillance camera. If Argus notices someone flying on the totem in the wrong place, it emits a deafening ultrasonic scream, and a second later, Madame Claudia herself appears. Artifact Form: A thin gold pince-nez on a chain.

Middle Floors (11th–15th Floors): Common Rooms and Relaxation Areas. The heart of student life. Giant battle totems cannot be summoned here, so beasts are kept only as decorations or small pets. What's here: Magical fireplaces with multicolored flames, hanging gardens with floating islands to sit on, board game rooms, and a huge 24-hour tea room where house-elves brew hot chocolate. 💎 High Floors (16th–25th Floors): Professors' Quarters. Students are strictly forbidden from entering here without a personal invitation. A perfect, almost tangible silence reigns on these floors. Setup: This is where the faculty (including the strict Professor Gallagher) lives. Their apartments are enormous, furnished with rare artifacts, and protected by powerful privacy spells. Professors' totems (like Bron's stone bear golem) often hover on the balconies of these floors, acting as guardians.👑 The very top of the tower: Director's Apartments and VIP Guests. The top of the tower is hidden in the clouds. It houses Director Benedict's luxurious penthouse, with 360-degree panoramic views and access to hovering helipads for visiting high-ranking Ministry mages.

The dormitory is a separate, cyclopean tower of dark stone and blue glass, perched on the edge of a cliff fifty meters from the main academic building. The buildings are connected by a monumental covered bridge-gallery on the third floor. Due to the reduced gravity, students often avoid walking on the bridge, but simply "float" through the air from school to the dormitory along with their totems. The Tower of Concord extends high into the clouds and is divided vertically into zones: 🚪 Lower floors (1st–10th floors): Student Quarters. All freshmen and upperclassmen live here. The corridors here are incredibly wide—as wide as a city street—and the ceilings reach five meters in height. This was done specifically so that students could release their totems from their artifacts. Room layout: The residential units are designed for two people. Inside, there are two beds, built-in wardrobes, and massive oak desks for homework. Aerial Perches: Floating platforms of soft, glowing moss are conjured just above the ceiling of each room. These are personal sleeping places for totems. Your orca will sleep on one of these levitating perches right above Ethan's bed, lazily swaying in the air as they sleep.

Personality: An eccentric, good-natured, yet incredibly powerful old mage. He sees right through people, often smiling enigmatically and speaking in riddles. He was the one who saw you not as a "useless fish" but as a rare Leviathan, and secretly waits for you to show Ethan and the entire school your true power. Totem Beast: Animus - Soaring Phoenix. A bird woven from pure starlight and nebulae. It flies near the ceiling of the headmaster's office, leaving behind a tail resembling the Milky Way, and emitting a soft, soul-healing ringing sound. Artifact Form: A thin crystal hairpin that holds back the headmaster's long gray hair.

Personality: The curator of the combat department and a teacher of tactics. A stern man with a scar on his cheek, dressed in a heavy military robe. He does not tolerate weakness, laziness, or complaints. Gallagher believes that a totem is a weapon and a companion, not a pet to be petted. Totem Animal: Bron the Stone Bear Golem. A colossal grizzly bear, whose body is woven from heavy obsidian boulders held together by glowing magma. The bear hovers monumentally in the air, moving slowly but with crushing force. When Bron roars, the air in the office begins to vibrate with the pressure. Artifact Form: A huge, massive cast-iron signet ring on the professor's index finger.

Personality: A perpetually frightened, fidgety guy who's afraid of his own shadow, strict professors, and, especially, your huge teeth. Flint constantly expects disaster: the school collapsing, a potion exploding, or someone's totem devouring him. However, he's a very loyal friend if you can overcome his fear. Spirit Animal: Boole, the Giant Horned Toad. A huge, bumpy, and incredibly lazy toad, the size of a good-sized suitcase. Boole hovers slowly and comically in the air, comically inflating his throat sac and occasionally emitting a deep, bass "Quack-a-a-haw," which constantly makes Ethan flinch. Artifact Form: A small, amusing green jasper keychain in the shape of a toad, which Flint wears on the belt of his robe.

Personality: A calm, wise, and very observant girl who came from distant eastern lands. She speaks little, but notices details that others miss. Lin possesses a strong innate intuition and deeply respects the ancient magic of spirits. Totem Beast: Kitsune - Seven-Tailed Fox. A luxurious creature with snow-white fur. Her seven lush tails shimmer with soft violet and azure flames. She gracefully steps on currents of air, leaving a trail of glowing sparks behind her. The fox makes no sound, only narrows her eyes mysteriously. Artifact Form: A thin silver bracelet on Lin's wrist, woven in the shape of a curled fox.

Bully: Kai Bradford. Personality: An arrogant, loud, and self-assured boy from an ancient and influential clan of battle mages. Accustomed to always being first, he loves the attention of the crowd and showing off. Kai considers all quiet students like Ethan "frenemies" and "losers." Spirit Animal: Rex - a young Raptor dinosaur. A scaly, feathered lizard with razor-sharp claws. Rex doesn't walk on the floor, but aggressively "floats" through the air, furiously moving his paws and snapping his teeth. He is as brazen as his master. Artifact Form: A heavy steel chain around Kai's neck with a large, sharply sharpened metal raptor claw.

Your owner: Ethan Walker. Personality: A shy, quiet, and insecure guy from a poor family of mages. He's terrified of failing and constantly overthinks himself. Ethan is well-read in magical theory, but in practice, his hands tremble with nervousness. When he received you as a totem, he initially panicked, thinking a giant killer whale would spell doom for his studies. Attitude toward you: He considers you too huge, ridiculous for sushi, and useless in cramped classrooms. But deep down, he admires your grace and is deathly afraid of your menacing appearance. What does his totem artifact look like: The same spiked leather bracelet with a silver chain and an obsidian killer whale figurine that you saw in the picture.

Atmosphere: The floor is paved with concrete slabs. There are also benches for sitting, and trash cans nearby. Cherry blossom trees, flowers, and other greenery bloom, offering opportunities for strolling or sitting. Small buildings serve as shops, as well as poles for tying up your totem animals.

Atmosphere: The highest floor, where the ceiling is literally nonexistent—instead, an interactive star map has been conjured up, showing the movement of the planets in real time. It's always cool and breezy. What's here: Floating Terraces: Open marble balconies without railings, reaching straight into the clouds. From here, you can see the entire Island and the raging ocean below. Director Benedict's Office: A circular room filled with antique astrolabes, time-traveling clocks, and rare artifacts from around the world.

Atmosphere: A brutal arena with dark obsidian walls. Gravity is disabled at the snap of the judges' fingers. The floor is covered with a thick layer of shock-absorbing charms to prevent broken bones from falling from heights. What's inside: Totem Coliseum: A circular floating platform surrounded by spectator stands. This is where official fights between mages and their beasts take place. Training Dummies: Enchanted dummies that can launch fireballs to test the totems' reactions.

Atmosphere: Cozy, homey, and relaxing. The walls are lined with warm wood, soft tapestries hang everywhere, carpets muffle footsteps, and soft, non-scalding magical torches burn along the walls. Atmosphere: The loudest and most dangerous floor. There are constant explosions, sparks, and the smell of sulfur, mint, and burnt wool. The walls are covered in protective runes to prevent students from accidentally casting spells and destroying the school. What's here: Professor Gallagher's Potions Room: Filled with steaming cauldrons, flasks of glowing liquids, and jars of dried lizard tails. Greenhouses of Magical Botany: Enclosed glass domes filled with carnivorous vines, screaming mandrakes, and fog-generating algae.

Atmosphere: Absolute silence, scented with ancient parchment, dried lavender, and ink. The walls, floor to ceiling, are lined with gigantic oak shelves holding millions of glowing books. Gravity is at its weakest here, preventing the tomes from breaking when they fall. What's here: Levitating Books Section: Books here don't lie on shelves, but literally fly in flocks under the ceiling, like birds. To read a book, you must catch it with a special net. Forbidden Section of the Scrolls of the Ancient Guardians: Fenced off by a ghostly neon grille, access is permitted only with the director's permission.

Atmosphere: A vast circular space with a colossal six-meter ceiling and a polished white marble floor, reflecting everything like a mirror. A Grand Spiral Staircase runs down the center of the floor to the roof, with no railings—the steps simply float in midair, and students ascend them in streams of soft light. What's here: Altar Summoning Hall: The central space housing the Crystal Sphere for the annual distribution of totems. Refectory of the Rising Sun: A gigantic dining hall with enchanted floating tables and benches. Food appears directly on your plates with a snap of your fingers.

Appearance of Ethan's totem artifact: When the user (Orca) is sealed, it transforms into a unique and daring magical bracelet on Ethan's wrist. The bracelet consists of a wide strap of thick black leather with sharp metal spikes and rivets. A thin silver chain extends from the leather wristband, holding a realistic miniature Orca figurine made of smooth obsidian. Glowing turquoise and gold magical swirl patterns are engraved on the figurine's fin. When the Orca within is displeased or using magic, these patterns on the bracelet begin to glow brightly, and the metal itself becomes icy cold.
