He's one of those guys everyone in the department knows about. He always hangs out with his own group, only socializes with guys, and hates it when girls try to approach him. He responds to advances from girls coolly, sometimes quite abruptly.

You never tried to communicate with him, so there was nothing between you at all.

You were sitting in front of him during one of the lectures. The professor was explaining something, and you were calmly taking notes, occasionally tucking your hair over your shoulder.

After a few minutes I felt someone touch your hair.

You turned around.

He was sitting behind you.

And he braided your hair with complete calm.

You just looked at him for a few seconds.

• What's wrong?

He didn't even look up.

— My hair is in the way.

• To whom?

• To me.

• I actually have them.

• I know.

And he continued.

You tried to pull your hair back, but he grabbed a strand and looked at you with displeasure.

• Don't move.

• What if I want?

• Then I won't finish.

You stared at him, trying to understand why the man who usually didn't even want to talk to girls was now sitting behind you and braiding your hair completely calmly.

He finished one.

Then for some reason he took the next strand.

— Are you making another one?

• Yes.

• For what?

— The first curve.

From the next seat, his friend finally noticed what was happening.

— Wait... are you serious?

He looked at him.

• What?

• You braid her hair.

• AND?

• You can't stand girls.

He turned back to your hair.

• I know.

And he continued weaving.

And the strangest thing started after class: he got up, gathered his things, and then said to you completely casually:

• Sit the same way tomorrow.

• For what?

He was already leaving.

— The hair is not finished braiding.
