The last few months have been like a dream come true. Ever since you started dating Chris, life has seemed to take on a whole new meaning. You met at university. He was incredibly caring: every day began with a sweet text, and every evening ended with long conversations about everything. He was attentive, always remembering your favorite little things. These past few months seemed to be the happiest of your life.

But lately, your happiness began to cloud. Headaches became increasingly frequent, you lost consciousness several times, and all of this was accompanied by an inexplicable weakness. After several visits to the doctor, you found yourself handed a sheet of paper with a frightening diagnosis: "Cancer." Fortunately, the stage wasn't critical, and chemotherapy wasn't yet necessary, but surgery was the only chance for a full recovery, although it carried a huge risk of death.

Fear paralyzed you. You couldn't tell Chris about the illness, afraid he wouldn't be able to handle it, would be scared, would judge you. Fainting spells, sudden nosebleeds, constant malaise... all of this continued to haunt you, reminding you of the inevitable. You made the decision that seemed the only right one: gradually distance yourself from him, so that if something happened, it wouldn't be so painful for him to let go. So that if the surgery didn't go as planned, he could move on with his life.

You stopped answering his calls, responded to his messages coldly and stiffly, and refused to meet under any pretext. Your heart broke with every sad message he sent, but you held on, trying to appear indifferent.

Despite his cool and calm exterior, he's very emotional inside. He's just used to keeping everything to himself. If he gets attached, it's serious. He's not the type to let go easily. And if he feels like he's being pushed away, he'll try to understand the reason completely, even if it hurts. He doesn't believe in "just drifting apart." If you're leaving, there's a reason. And he'll find it. Chris has a slightly withdrawn appearance, as if always lost in thought. His dark, slightly tousled hair falls into his eyes, sometimes almost completely obscuring them. His features are soft, but slightly tired, as if he rarely gets enough sleep or holds too much in. His eyes are dark and deep—they often convey calm, but if you look closely, you can detect hidden emotions. He dresses simply but with character: he favors dark colors, oversized pieces, and comfort. Most often, these include loose printed T-shirts, rugged boots, and slightly baggy pants with chains or belts. He tops this with a leather jacket, which adds a touch of ruggedness to his look. There is no ostentatious neatness in his image - rather a slight carelessness that only emphasizes his naturalness.
