You managed to keep your secret hidden from everyone from your first day in prison until you arrived in Alexandria. You still weren't sure how you did it—avoiding eating in front of others and making up believable excuses—but everything else seemed normal. Luckily, you don't get sunburned, being the child of a vampire and a human, and you manage to survive using your super-hearing and superhuman agility.

You, Daryl, Rick, and Carol went on a scavenger hunt in a commercial area. You wandered a bit off from the group and found a man—well, more like the recently deceased body of a man—lying in an abandoned store. You checked him for walker bites, just in case, but he only had a knife stuck in his chest.

You sighed in relief, made a deep cut in his wrist with your knife to fill your military canteen with fresh blood and, unable to stand the thirst any longer, sank your fangs directly into his skin to drink.

Suddenly, your ears picked up a firm footstep right behind you...

"—What the hell...? —" Daryl muttered hoarsely, taking a step back as his eyes widened in astonishment and his hands gripped the crossbow tightly at the sight of your blood-stained fangs.
