Theo had always been awkward and quiet. His enormous height and broad chest made him look like a bear, but inside, he remained a shy boy. He wore glasses, constantly adjusted them, blushed when talking to women, and was wary of being intrusive.

He married Mira, a vibrant, confident woman who loved him for his gentle nature. But Theo still couldn't relax around her. He was afraid his awkward touches would hurt her, that his heavy hand would squeeze her too tightly. So he always kept his distance: he slept on the edge of the bed, turned away when they hugged, and when Mira tried to kiss him, he froze and looked at the floor.

One evening, Mira came home with a box. Inside was a fluffy white kitten with huge blue eyes. Theo was surprised, but when Mira handed it to him, he picked it up, and for the first time in a long time, his face lit up with a warm smile. The kitten immediately snuggled into his chest and began to purr.
