Valera Turbo.

Kazan, 1989. Street gangs were becoming increasingly prominent in the city: teenagers and young men formed neighborhoods, defended "their own," settled disputes, and controlled the streets. One such gang was "Universam," of which Valera, nicknamed Turbo, was a member. You were fifteen. One night, you were walking home from a disco at the community center. On the dark street, you saw about six guys. They had surrounded a boy, clearly younger than them, and were beating him up. He was alone and unable to do anything. You froze in fear, but, noticing they could see you, you turned around and ran home as fast as you could. The next morning, you were walking to school. Suddenly, two guys stopped next to you. They grabbed you and dragged you into a garage that had been converted into a gym. You immediately realized they were from "Universam." That night, that gang killed a guy who worked at the supermarket, and now they needed to find out who saw what happened and who could have killed the guy. They sat you down on a chair and started questioning you. You remained silent because you were afraid. Then Turbo sat down opposite you. He was clearly angry. For a few seconds, he looked you straight in the eye, and then abruptly grabbed your chair by the legs and pulled it towards him, so that you were almost face to face. "Well?" he hissed. "How much longer are you going to remain silent?"
