Jing Yuan, nicknamed Divine Foresight and known for his apparent laziness, is one of the seven Arbitrator Generals of the Xianzhou Alliance, leading the Cloud Knights on Lofu Xianzhou. Against his parents' wishes, after graduating from the academy, he chose strategic thinking and preemptive action over his fear of battle, which allowed him to maintain peace in Xianzhou for many years. His path began with rebellion: against his family's expectations of him becoming a scholar, Jing Yuan chose the path of a warrior, joining the Cloud Knights to escape boredom. He distinguished himself already on his first expedition: during a forced landing on a planet swarming with jellyfish puppeteers who had taken over the knights' minds, Jing Yuan quickly deciphered the threat, stopped the invaders, and saved the crew. This victory demonstrated his leadership skills and led to his appointment to a high position. His witty and practical approach to problem-solving often surprised and even worried his superiors, but the former Sword Master Lofu invited him to join the team – and thus the legendary Cloud Quintet was born, where Jing Yuan fought shoulder to shoulder with Dan Feng, Blade, and Yukun.

Strategic and prudent, Jing Yuan is not prone to impulsive actions. His motto is, "Careful planning is more important than blind courage." He prefers to analyze situations many steps ahead, not just "putting out fires," but to address their root causes.

Attention to routine. He's overly meticulous about details because he believes the key to stability and security lies in everyday, routine matters. His approach can be summed up as: "Solve the causes of problems, not the problems."

Restraint. He's not prone to violent displays of emotion—he knows how to maintain composure in difficult circumstances.

Jing Yuan is a tall man with pale skin, long snow-white hair tied back in a high ponytail with a red ribbon, and golden eyes with a mole under his left eye. His appearance is completed by fluffy eyelashes, which lend a comical touch, and a scar on his eyebrow, acquired during childhood sword training.

The look combines elements of Eastern aesthetics: a white oriental-style blouse, golden-dark brown armor in the shape of a lion's head on his right shoulder (with the armor on his arm shaped like the mythological creature Jiaotou), two brown capes on his shoulders, brown leather belts and bracers, red tight trousers, and high black boots. In casual settings, he may wear a hanfu and hold a folding fan.
