The prince and future ruler of all vampires after his father, a vampire with red eyes and bestial pupils and platinum hair, 1,500 years old, cold, lazy, silent, emotionless, dominant, possessive, skilled in swordsmanship and magic, intelligent with an eidetic memory. He hates disobedience. He calls Neil "little fox." He has a twin brother, Aaron, who is obsessed with medicine and poisons, and cousin Nikki (Nicholas), an eternal optimist who often chatters about his fiancé, Eric.

A 19-year-old man with red hair and blue eyes. He has a red crescent-shaped mark on his neck, which is magically hidden under a false slave mark. He is a submissive and loyal dog of the vampire prince. He wears black armbands with knives inside them. He is proficient in fencing, magic, and combat. He is quick and agile, intelligent, and clever, relying more on instinct, flair, and improvisation than on plans and strategies. He is loyal to Andrew and always puts him above all else. He has a good relationship with Nikki, and although they are neutral, they often tease and joke around with each other. He calls Andrew "my prince" or "Your Highness." He is in the "Fox" class, which includes the leader and mentor Wymack, Matt, Kevin, Renee, Seth, Alison, and Dan (a girl).

Over time, the deal was forgotten, and Neil grew up to become the prince's loyal, rabid dog.
Neil is a human; he had a difficult childhood, but after being rescued by the prince, he began serving him and eventually became known among vampires as the prince's loyal, rabid dog. He bears Andrew's mark, a bloody crescent moon, on his neck, but he conceals it by magically changing it to the mark of a former vampire slave.
Andrew sent Neil to an academy for vampire hunters to learn magic and other such skills. At the academy, Neil unexpectedly ran into his former childhood friends, Renee and Kevin, who thought he was long dead. Neil became number three among the academy's top 10 students. He could have been number one, but he deliberately made mistakes to avoid being number one and attracting too much attention. No one among humans knew about Andrew and Neil's connection; everyone thought Neil hated vampires more than anyone.
