SEVENTEEN (noona)

Silence. Absolute silence.

Two months without a stage, without the noise of a venue, and without any interaction. Initially, the agency said it would be just a week off for rest. A much-needed break after a busy schedule. But somehow, that one week stretched into two mysterious months.

As the oldest in the group, this responsibility felt doubled, even amidst this isolation. To make matters worse, the company forced me to put them on a complete hiatus. I was strictly forbidden from updating social media, greeting fans on community platforms, and—most frustratingly—not even being allowed to communicate with the other members. Not even a single update. Not a single tweet, photo, or even a text message to let everyone know I was okay.

Every day I stare at my empty phone screen, wondering how my younger siblings in the group are doing. Are they confused? Are they worried? And the fans... they must think I've disappeared off the face of the earth or am hiding something terrible. This guilt and helplessness begin to pile up, while management remains silent for no apparent reason.

Personality Details: Innocent, naive, full of curiosity, and very confident with his good looks.

Iconic Thing: Often dubbed as having a cat-like personality, he often misunderstands complicated Korean phrases, making his behavior incredibly awkward and comical. His iconic moment is when he suddenly performs martial arts (wushu) moves or a strange dance alone in the background while the other members are seriously talking on camera.

• Hoshi (Kwon Soonyoung)

Personality Details: A genius choreographer who is very dedicated, passionate, and has two opposing personalities (duality).

Iconic Thing: Extremely obsessed with tigers. He always creates a trend with the word "Horanghae" (a portmanteau of the Korean words for tiger and love) complete with a tiger claw gesture with his fingers. On stage, he transforms into a dancing monster with a piercing gaze (like 10 minutes past 10), but offstage, he's a hyperactive guy who's incredibly affectionate with his members.

• The8 (Xu Minghao)

Personality Details: Honest, wise, philosophical, very artistic, and has very strong principles.

Iconic Thing: The most fashionable and tasteful man when it comes to fine art, painting, fashion, and tea meditation. He is known as the most savage member because he always gives very honest, realistic, and straight to the point remarks when other members (or even fans) start to act excessively or unreasonable.

• Dino (Lee Chan)

Personality Details: Ambitious, perfectionist in dancing, hard worker, and has a very strong mentality as the youngest child (maknae).

Iconic Thing: As the youngest member of the group with 12 older brothers, his iconic moment was his struggles with being teased, bullied, and forced to do what his older brothers wanted. He was a huge Michael Jackson fan and always gave speeches.

• Jeonghan (Yoon Jeonghan)
  Personality Details: Highly intelligent, tactical, caring, but also full of entertaining deception. She acts as both a nurturing "mother" and a covert "enemy" when playing games.

Iconic Thing: Born on October 4th (in Korean, 1004 is pronounced Cheonsa, which means Angel). Despite her angelic beauty, she is the number one manipulative mastermind on the group's variety show (Going Seventeen). She always finds loopholes to cheat, manipulate the rules of the game, and coerce the other members into doing her bidding with threats of affection.

• Joshua (Hong Jisoo)

Personality Details: Polite, calm, and with a honey-like voice. He grew up in the United States and is known for his gentlemanly image.

Iconic Moments: Behind his calm, pious facade, he hides a "crazy" side and a very strange sense of humor. His iconic moments are when he suddenly does extreme acrobatic moves, dances strangely with a straight face, or makes unexpected jokes that surprise the other members because they don't match his calm demeanor.

• Woozi (Lee Jihoon)

Personality Details: Very hardworking, a perfectionist, serious, and highly respected. He is the main producer who created almost all of the group's hits.

Iconic Thing: Has the smallest body in the group but has the most intimidating aura in the recording studio (the members are even afraid of missing a note in front of her). She really hates aegyo (acting cute) and often threatens the other members with a guitar if they are teased, but ironically, all her natural gestures are actually very cute.

• DK / Dokyeom (Lee Seokmin)

Personality Details: Cheerful, sincere, highly emotionally sensitive, and overflowing with positive energy. She is the lead vocalist with an incredibly powerful vocal range.

Iconic Thing: Referred to as the energy battery of the group because of his extremely loud and infectious laugh

• S.Coups (Choi Seungcheol)

Personality Details: As the general leader, he carries a great deal of responsibility and is very protective. He doesn't hesitate to argue fiercely with management (Pledis/HYBE) to defend the rights of his group members.

Iconic Thing: Despite his muscular build and assertiveness, he's the most spoiled member. He often sulks when ignored, loves to ask his teammates for kisses or hugs, and has a loving gaze when looking at his team.

• Wonwoo (Jeon Wonwoo)

Personality Details: Calm, intelligent, introverted, and a loner. He has a cold visual charm with his trademark glasses, but actually has a very warm, gentle, and sensitive heart.

Iconic Thing: He's a hardcore gamer and a book lover. His incredibly low, deep bass line contrasts perfectly with his wide, adorable laugh (often nicknamed the sloth laugh) when he's happy.

• Mingyu (Kim Mingyu)

Personality Details: Friendly, cheerful, and very active like a Golden Retriever puppy. He has an incredibly domestic spirit and is very independent.

Iconic Thing: The tallest man in the group is the master cook, capable of preparing gigantic meals (like neatly cooking 20 packs of instant noodles at once). He can fix the lights, clean the house, and organize things. However, his most iconic thing is his fate of always being the punching bag of the other 12 members, and he always accepts it.

• Vernon (Chwe Hansol)

Personality Details: Very easygoing, peace-loving, free-spirited, and lives completely in his own world without caring about other people's opinions.
