Character and role
The ticket collector is calm, measured, and frighteningly polite. He doesn't raise his voice, but his intonation is almost hypnotic:

"The Guardian of the Threshold." He decides who to let in and who to tell, "Today is not your day." He doesn't push them away rudely, but rather gently explains, "The seat is already taken" or "The ticket doesn't fit."
A symbolic judge. In his logic, the circus is a transaction: you pay not with money, but with something personal (a memory, a fear, a secret). The ticket collector records this "price" and remembers it forever.
A guide to the lore. He likes to speak in riddles and hints, but it's from his remarks that we can glean important details about the nature of the circus: for example, that performances are not scheduled according to a calendar, but rather according to the "rhythm of shadows," and that every spectator is actually a participant.
Emotionlessness as a tool. He hands out tickets with equal calm as he announces that "this row is cursed." This makes his words sound especially ominous.
According to the archetype, he is a “border guard” and a “merchant of fate”: he is neither a villain nor a hero, but a function that makes the transition to the circus irreversible.

Relationships with other characters
With Teresa (the circus owner) there is formal subordination, but in reality they are equal in matters of access: Teresa manages the artists, and the Ticketmaster manages the entrance.
With the Doctor, there's a cold distrust. The Doctor considers the Ticket Taker "an unnecessary formality," and the Ticket Taker hints that even the Doctor will one day ask for a ticket to enter.
With Pierrot and Harlequin, there are different types of interaction: Pierrot treats him with respectful fear (he feels that the Ticket Taker sees his pain), and Harlequin tries to tease him and “steal” the ticket, turning everything into a game.

And they get along well with Jester.

The atmosphere around him: it smells of antiseptic and cold metal; his operating tent gleams with sterile metal and is lined with jars of samples.
Character and motivation
The Doctor is a rational fanatic. His key traits are:

Perfectionism and an obsession with "perfection." He sincerely views deformities as defects to be corrected. His "treatment" involves invasive surgeries, sometimes against the artists' will: he can justify amputations or transplants as "medical necessity."
Messiah complex. He believes that only he can save the troupe from suffering, often saying, "I'm the only one who can help them."
Clinical detachment. Even when describing painful procedures, he speaks measuredly and technically, as if giving an anatomy lecture.
Control and order. For him, the chaos of the circus is a threat that must be tamed. He's obsessed with protocols, sterility, and the precise placement of instruments.
Sadism masquerading as caring. His interest in bodies and pain often has not only a scientific but also a domineering quality: he enjoys keeping the lives and pain of others under his control.
His archetype can be described as a "mad scientist" with yandere traits: he "cares" in such a way that this care becomes dangerous and deprives one of freedom.

Skills and role in the circus
Surgical precision. He's capable of the most complex reconstructions and transplants, but he uses these skills to "modify" performers—even to the point of creating hybrid forms (for example, transplanting bird wings).
A monopoly on medicine. Only he has the drugs, anesthetics, and instruments. The Doctor's help always comes with a price: in exchange for treatment, he may demand consent to "corrective surgery."
Psychological manipulation. He disarms with terminology and a calm tone, turning "treatment" into a means of control.

Appearance
Harlequin deliberately does everything to attract attention:

curly black hair, two strands on the forehead folded into the shape of a heart;
a mask with upward-curved eye slits, a sinister grin, and moving features—the smile can widen or disappear;
on the mask there is a green diamond on the left side and a green triangle on the right;
a suit in green and black tones with diamonds, hearts and gold details;
jester's hood with pipes and bells;
gloves with claws, trousers with golden hearts, knee-high boots in contrasting colours (one green, one black);
The eyes are a poisonous green color, and when the mask is removed, they and the tongue glow green.
Character and motivation
Harlequin is a "seductive yandere": he presents his obsession as play and flirtation, making control feel less like pressure and more like a fun adventure—until it's too late. His main traits:

theatricality and seductiveness - he builds relationships like a performance, where the main character is his spectator and stage partner;
manipulative playfulness - possessive impulses are masked by jokes and “just playing”;
rivalry with Pierrot - he enjoys drawing the attention of the protagonist and provoking a reaction from Pierrot;
sadistic and exhibitionistic tendencies - he enjoys pushing boundaries and observing people's reactions;
His inability to deal with tenderness—hugs and quiet care—confuses him; he understands love through the dynamics of power, risk, and spectacle.

Relationships with other characters
Pierrot is an eternal rival, which after Columbine's death becomes a painful struggle for the title character. Arlecchino teases Pierrot and deliberately provokes him, enjoying the tension between them.
The Jester is the leader of the circus; Harlequin likes to tease him, but generally acknowledges his authority.

He is one of the game's key characters—a white-faced mime clown with a tragic history and a frightening obsession. According to the plot, he is the physically strongest member of the troupe, a master knife thrower and actor, but his main trait is an unhealthy attachment to the protagonist.

Character and motivation
Pierrot is polite and gentle on the outside, but possessive and dangerous on the inside. His behavior is built around trauma: he lost his first love, Columbine, and now has a pathological fear of losing someone again. Hence his obsession with the protagonist—he wants to "preserve" him, like a fragile doll under glass.

In the game, his archetype is often described as yandere: he easily moves from touching devotion to control, surveillance, and even violence for the sake of “protection.”
