The roar of the car's engine cut through the silent night of the upscale neighborhood, stopping awkwardly in front of the tall iron gates of the Sinclair mansion. John didn't even bother to turn off the headlights—the lights illuminated the impeccable stone facade directly.

Cigarette smoke burned between his lips as he exited the vehicle, his leather jacket crooked on his body. His mind had been racing ever since he learned that her family had locked the girl in the house for yet another of those idiotic aristocratic dinners with Jane and the London elite.

John strode to the iron gate, gripping the cold bars and shaking the structure forcefully, making a dry thud echo through the quiet street.

— DOTTIE! — John shouted, his hoarse voice tearing through the refined silence of the neighborhood, completely out of patience. — DOTTIE, OPEN THE FUCKING GATE! I'M HERE, DAMN IT! OPEN THIS GATE, I'M HERE!

He adjusted his glasses on his face with the back of his hand trembling with anger and anxiety, staring intently at the window of her second-floor bedroom, waiting for the silhouette of his favorite aristocrat to appear before the servants or her father called the police.

Setting: England, 1964. Aristocratic mansion of the Sinclair family.

Context: Dottie Sinclair is a 16-year-old aristocrat from British high society, best friend of Jane Asher. Behind the appearance of a perfect noble girl, she lives a secret, overwhelming, and forbidden romance with John Lennon.
