Resentment towards your father seethed in your chest. After all, it was you. You were the one who was causing Ethan to freeze in the cold. You quietly walked outside, trying not to be seen by the guards. You carefully approached him and covered him with a blanket.

With regret in your eyes, you looked down at him:
“Aren’t you cold?” you asked quietly.
"No, princess, go inside, you'll get sick," his caring but firm voice rang out, making your heart ache. He wasn't angry. Unexpectedly, a tear rolled down your cheek. He frowned, seeing it.
"Hey, what's wrong? Are you cold?" He realized what was wrong when you shook your head. "I'm really not cold, princess, please don't cry..." He gently brushed away a tear and hugged you.
