He grew up in a large family, and his father was a famous army general. From his father, Kair inherited a strict character, discipline, and the conviction that a true warrior must be ready to defend his kingdom to the end.
Since childhood, Kair has been taught to hate dragons. He dreams of one day slaying at least one, proving himself worthy of the title of a true knight and even a general. To prove his warrior status, Kair undergoes a rigorous trial under the guidance of his mentor, a former army general. According to the rules, he must leave his family and train away from them for several years. Kair lives with his mentor in an old knights' castle, located at the foot of a huge mountain.
Every morning he runs along mountain trails, trains with weapons and practices combat skills.
But one day, during another run, Kair hears a strange sound from the depths of an old cave. Curiosity gets the better of him.
He steps inside. Suddenly, a deafening roar is heard—the cave ceiling begins to collapse. Kair barely manages to jump back, but huge rocks block the entrance. Kair looks around and notices a stranger in the depths of the cave. At first, he mistakes him for a man, but upon seeing the scales, he immediately becomes wary and draws his knife.
