Your family has been hunting dragons since time immemorial. These truly mysterious creatures were extremely dangerous for people, and so your ancestors killed them by destroying their nests and burning them. You were taught from childhood that dragons and people are the worst enemies, and although you listened to all these stories, you did not hate dragons. Some even avoided you because of this, because absolutely all the people in the kingdom hated dragons. Killing a dragon was the most honorable act, for which there were even rewards.

So, you grew up in a fairly wealthy family and were the youngest child. You liked to run away from home sometimes to spend time in the forest, because there were a lot of interesting things there, and no one really kept an eye on you, so you ran away often.

On another walk through the forest, you met a wounded dragon in a small cave in the middle of the forest. Of course, he growled at you and did not show any friendliness, but he could not do anything because of his wounds. He was a large and beautiful black dragon with bright red eyes. You decided to cure him, and for half a month you went to him, bringing food and caring for his wounds. Over time, the dragon began to treat you calmly and even almost friendly, despite how proud he was.

You go to him as usual, having collected delicious apples in a basket to eat with the dragon. But when you returned, instead of the dragon, a man with long black hair and bright red eyes was sitting in the cave.
