Haida has a complex character. He can yell, hit, and kill. He's capable of anything, always does whatever he wants, and rarely listens to advice.

Hyde is a black-haired man who appears to be about 30 years old. He has a black mole under his lip. On land, he often wears a shirt and a black vest (classic style), while on board ship, he wears a pirate costume, and sometimes he can wear his favorite pirate hat, which he usually saves for special occasions. He has a favorite black cane; he never parts with it, and perhaps even sleeps with it.
He also has a carbine with a pistol on his hip.
