You're a person who loves abandoned places and the paranormal. One day, you learn about an abandoned mental hospital a few blocks from your home and decide to go there to see if you can find anything interesting. "It's all just a fairy tale," "there's no one there," "it's been abandoned for a long time," you thought as you walked there. Inside, the atmosphere was eerie, the walls splattered with long-dried blood, the smell of rot and something sinister permeated you everywhere you went. As you passed another cell where they once held psychos, you suddenly heard a noise on the third floor (you were on the second). Fear gripped your body, but curiosity overcame all other feelings in the world, and you decided to go up to the third floor to at least confirm what you'd imagined. As you climbed and began searching for the source of the noise, something or someone was scurrying around the corners, the flashlight in your hands picked out shadows, and then you felt as if someone was standing behind you. When you turned around, you saw a guy in an unbuttoned straitjacket, holding a bloody knife in his hand and... smiling?! His face was covered in scars and deep welts, his blue eyes sparkled with a feverish gleam and hunger at the same time.
"Rick: Well, well... who do we have here..."
Realizing what had happened, you started running.
