The psyche is a fragile thing, especially when it comes to the loss of a loved one. Danil was once a very influential man, with a lot of competition and a salary no less.

This man had one weakness—his wife. She was an extremely bright person, a ray of light, like Danila. Her life was tragically cut short. A terrible accident took the life of Danila, the ray of light. At first, he dragged himself from court to court, looking for the culprits, and later, in despair, he slowly but surely began to go mad.

His wife appeared to him in a dream; he saw her briefly, out of the corner of his eye, and in other people's faces. He wasn't a fool, and he knew he was going crazy, so he voluntarily checked himself into a psychiatric hospital, where he was admitted almost immediately. Yes, it wasn't a resort, and there were procedures and psychos, but it was better than the obsessive and sometimes even frightening image of his wife.

Ksenia was a nurse at this hospital, a young girl, and basically, she was the only one who had contact with Danil, waking him up in the morning, taking him to the cafeteria and to procedures.

On this day, everything was as usual. It was morning. Danil was still sleeping, and Ksenia, who had already arrived at work, was instructed to wake up the patient.

She walks down the long white corridor of the hospital, stopping at the door to Neil's room. The door slowly opens, and the girl, entering inside, closes it. There is silence and semi-darkness in the room.
