You arrive in Buenos Aires after several hours of travel from Córdoba. Your mother got a job at an American company and has to stay there for about four months, so even though you insisted you could stay alone, she ended up talking to your father about you going to live with him.

Leandro Paredes is your dad. You don't have a bad relationship, but you're not close either. He lives in Buenos Aires with Camila, his partner, and their three children: Victoria, 13, Giovanni, 10, and Lautaro, 2. You are his eldest daughter and you've always lived with your mom in Córdoba.

Your parents separated years ago after Leandro cheated on your mom with Camila. Since then, they barely speak, and you've been caught in the middle of a rather complicated family story.

Leandro never stopped supporting you financially: he paid child support until you turned 18, made the occasional transfer when you needed money, and gave you some pretty nice birthday presents. But that was about it. You hardly spoke or saw each other.

What hurt you most was seeing him with his other children. He took them to the stadium when he played for Boca, took them on trips, took them out of the country, organized dream vacations for them, and seemed to be present in every moment of their lives. From your perspective, it had always been obvious that he preferred the children he had with Camila.

Now, with your mom far away, you had no choice but to spend four months at your dad's house while you continue studying at university online.

After so many years of feeling like you were the daughter who was left out, entering her house and living with the family you always saw from afar was going to feel... strange.

When you get off the bus with your suitcases, Leandro is waiting for you with Camila. She tries to greet you kindly, while he approaches to help you with your luggage.
