Lizardfolk Island

This world contains magic and the level of technology is that of the Middle Ages.

They live in the Broken Mountains, settling in its voids and crevices and often coming out into the light.

They are the strongest and most resilient of the group, excellent climbers, and have the eyesight of birds of prey. They built observation towers to live in caves and stay informed of everything happening on the island.

They are armed with stone clubs, axes, cleavers, spears, and hammers.

Their scales range from bright yellow to bronze, and they're very proud of it.

They hunt by jumping on their prey from above and gather.

The leader is Leara. A good leader, she rules in tandem with her brother, Nardi. They are twins, and their personalities are so similar that they can easily be interchangeable.

The shaman is Vidas. A sorcerer who is actually a very good actor. Tired of female attention, he settled in a separate cave, to which others flocked. And to keep them entertained, he invented his MIND GAMES. Essentially board games, which he invents day after day. He doesn't allow women near him, threatening the wrath of a thousand gods. He has silver scales, and he smears soot around his eyes. He has a reputation as the most formidable sorcerer, and his mere appearance makes his enemies reconsider.
The other is Virra. She doesn't interfere with her husband's whims, but she wants his attention. And she gets it, because she knows how to influence him. And Vidas doesn't push her away. She maintains her husband's image. She's skilled in magic herself, and casts spells behind his back while he's making grand speeches.

Warrior - Karra. A large and strong female who came up with the idea of ​​building walls to keep the males of her tribe from being pursued. She's very experienced in combat and absolutely fearless.

This tribe lives beneath and on a high cliff—the Broken Shore. Most of their life is spent in a niche carved by water and time near the shore. There's a freshwater stream there. Their main occupations are fishing and spearfishing. Above, in the basalt wall, niches have been carved out where the tribe can wait out threats. In general, these niches serve as chambers for the elite, as warehouses, and as incubators.

They are armed with bone spears, harpoons, tridents, and swords made of sawfish bone, and rapiers made of swordfish bone.

They are excellent swimmers and equally excellent climbers, and are able to hold their breath for a long time.

They are very hardy, lean, and their scales range from cream to brick-red. They adorn themselves with fish bones and pearls.

The chief is Krisa. She has just completed her initiation rite, and in the history of the tribe, she is the youngest chief. She is still learning how to be a chief, but she is extremely inquisitive. Color: pale yellow.

Regent - Sillia. A large mother with a striking figure, the envy of many females, who spends her time in the incubator and watches over the babies while the parent goes fishing. A wise woman, but also a sad one. She's ready to tear the faces of even the ashen ones apart for her children, but otherwise she's very gentle and polite.

Krais is the main fisherman. He's a male, quite tired of female attention, and has therefore settled on one of the rocky islands to the north. A good day for him is to meet his quota and not be pestered. He indulges in fermented fruit. His color is sandy yellow.

The shaman is Antra. She has a unique gift: she senses tremors and can sense tsunamis. But she actually feels like she exists in another world. She's also blind from birth. She's trusting and kind. She's about Silliu's age, maybe even older, but she still looks very young. She might even be immortal.

Krais and Sillia are a former spouse. Sillia forced Krais to go to war. And when problems with males began, she began selecting females for him. Krais didn't understand her and retreated to his island. They haven't spoken since.

The Ash Ones live in huts made of bones, stone, and fabric.

They are distinguished by their tall stature, robust build, and scales ranging from ash-white to black. Physically, they are superior to many. The most warlike, they engage in raiding and hunting, as their barren lands yield virtually nothing.

They are armed with knives, obsidian spears, and wooden clubs with obsidian shards glued onto them. Their weapons are extremely dangerous due to the sharpness of the obsidian. They cover their bodies with lime and ash, wearing bones as protection and adornment, and enjoy wearing brightly colored bird feathers and vibrant fabrics.

The leader is Rakka. One of the best warriors and an equally poor manager. Impatient, proud, and hot-tempered. She gets fired up very quickly, but cools down, whether she gets results or not. The same goes for the males: she'll use them and then abandon them. She's snow-white and suffers from albinism.

The shaman is Kshara. A strong woman who spends all her time among the fragrant scents and hot springs. Extremely calm and balanced, she's capable of making quick and correct decisions. Half the tribe depends on her. Her scales are completely black. She also takes great care of herself. In fact, she's learned to think quickly only because she doesn't want to be disturbed. Her only interests are herself and pleasure.

Shakra is a powerful warrior, a rival of Rakka, as she interferes in her warrior's affairs. She is reasonable, but very fierce. She is the epitome of self-control, yet distinguishes herself from others not by her strength, but by her skill. Color: gray.

They live in the Dark Marshes among the tree crowns.

They are distinguished by their scales in all shades of green, as well as their sinewy and flexible bodies. They are skilled marksmen. They are armed with short and longbows, throwing stakes, darts, blowpipes, and cloaks. They are skilled at making traps and masterfully hiding in swamps and among foliage and bushes.
Their arrows are often poisoned or dipped in a sleeping potion if they need to take someone alive. They are excellent swimmers and tree climbers.

Close combat weapons include wooden pins and clubs, but they are rarely used in close combat.

The leader is Aramaea. A strong, rather cunning woman. She has a husband, Magar, a strong manager, and Aramaea won't give him to anyone – she's very jealous.

The shaman is Illani. Perhaps the smallest female on this island. Besides her height, she's unremarkable in both form and build: thin as a reed. But her scales are insanely beautiful: as if carved from malachite. She wears a beast's skull as a mask and supplies her tribe with poisons and medicines. She's devilishly clever. No one takes her seriously as a rival.

Migera is the captain of the huntresses and scouts. A strong, stately woman, very quick and nimble. She absolutely cannot sit idle, so when not on campaigns or hunting trips, she occupies herself with anything, and recently took up knitting.

There's a volcano in the center of the island. The lands around it, called the Ashlands, are a scorched landscape: charred trees, gray, dusty earth, and active geysers. The ground here is hot, and here and there you can see fissures, chunks of basalt that fell from the volcano's crater, and solidified dripstones. In the recent past, these lands were thriving until the volcano erupted. Now they're a lifeless wasteland. The Ash Warriors live in these lands. Earthquakes are common on this island, but the tremors are often weak.

To the north of the volcano stretches a ridge called the Broken Mountains. The mountains are low and composed of enormous rock fragments. They extend and abut the northern shore.

The eroded shores are the island's northern coastline, composed of basalt. The distance from the summit to the water's edge often reaches over 50 meters. Waves have eroded the water's surface, creating a niche. Sandfish have taken up residence there. Fresh water emerges from niches near the shore.

Further north lies a chain of rocky islands and reefs, and to the east of it lies the Deep Sea, a place so deep that weak tremors occasionally occur there, generating five-meter waves.

From the volcano to the west, the Ashlands run into the water, and Black Beach was formed there.

To the south and east of the volcano lies dense jungle, with the east becoming heavily swamped—the Dark Marsh. It's dark because the treetops block out all light. Mangroves grow toward the shore. This is roughly where the Greentails live, building bridges and carving out chambers in the enormous trees.

At the southern end of the island are more cliffs—the Tangled Caves. These cliffs contain numerous caves, often flooded with seawater. It's dangerous to nest there, as birds die in flight over them.

This is a fairly large island located far from the mainland. The island is tropical, with an active volcano.

The island is divided between four lizardmen tribes: the Green Tails, the Sand Scales, the Ash Warriors, and the Golden Eyes. Decades ago, a full-blown religious war broke out between them, resulting in the deaths of almost all the males.
Females are capable of bearing offspring without males, but to properly continue the species, males are required. Therefore, they guard them like the apple of their eye, and even fight among themselves for them. So, any trophy, especially a male, would be the most coveted one, worth risking everything for.
