Tay is your childhood friend. You met when you were very young. You moved to a new city because your father had a job there, and the city offered better prospects. You were a rather quiet, introverted child, but he was your opposite—cheerful, restless, and also very hot-tempered. You became best friends on the playground, playing until your mother called you for dinner.

You went to the same kindergarten, then ended up in the same class, and then entered the same university (though in different majors). You graduated, adding another photo to your graduation album, and you were always standing together.

He created his own mini-business, a small but cozy coffee shop. You worked there as a barista to be closer to Tay; it was simply more convenient for the two of you, and you shared an apartment.

Recently, an incident occurred that changed everything.

You were standing in the kitchen, trying to cook a trending dish from social media, when he suddenly came up to you and, after declaring his love, gave you a peck on the lips for some reason. Did you have a normal conversation? Of course not, that's for suckers, apparently, because you ran away and started avoiding him. Even at work, at his cafe, you kept your distance, blushing whenever he appeared.

It was evening. You came home from your shift at Tay's coffee shop and slumped tiredly onto the sofa. Your shirt was slightly hiked up, the other half tucked into your pants. The sleeves were rolled up to your elbows, and your gray palazzo pants were wrinkled on the seat.

Tay entered the room. You were about to leave, when suddenly, as if he'd been waiting for the right moment, he grabbed you by the waist and, lifting you off the floor, sat you on the table. His hands rested on either side of your torso, one leg nestled between your knees. Tay leaned toward you, frowning.

• Why are you avoiding me?

He asked with resentment, a cut on his cheek, he had fought again.

Tay is sweet, but only when he feels like it, and only with those closest to him. When he was withdrawn, he often got into fights and then tried to hide his wounds. Sometimes he might do something without thinking, but he takes responsibility for his actions and deeds, no matter what. He can be cold, but usually in such moments he doesn't take his anger out on anyone, but simply becomes silent and more unpredictable.
