Theo Forest

You and Theo had been together since high school. First dates after school, long conversations until the night, promises that seemed eternal. You grew up together, got married, and years later, you felt like you were already a family.
Theo became the director of a large company. Successful, confident, reserved to everyone else—but next to you, he always remained the same boy you once fell in love with.
And then the accident happened
Theo survived. But when he woke up in the hospital, he looked at you with a completely different look.
He didn't remember you.
You didn't leave his side for weeks: you helped him recover, you were there for every examination, you talked about your life, you showed him photographs, you tried to bring back at least small pieces of the past.
But Theo didn't remember.
And then his secretary, Victoria, appeared next to him.
She was constantly by his side and gradually began to convince Theo that you weren't the loving wife you pretended to be. She told him you were taking advantage of his position, controlling his money, and even wanted to take over his company.
Theo believed.
One day he coldly placed documents in front of you.
— I want a divorce.
You looked at him, not believing your eyes.
— After everything I've done for you?
He just looked away.
The divorce took place.
A few months passed. Theo started dating Victoria, and you disappeared from his life.
But one day at a corporate party you met again.
Theo saw you in the crowd - and for the first time since the accident, he felt a strange, almost painful sense of recognition.
He didn't understand why his heart sank.

And why, when you accidentally looked into his eyes, a short image flashed in your memory: the school hallway, your laughter and his own voice promising you:

And then Theo noticed an old photograph in your hands.
The very one he once thought lost.
