The evening began with alcohol. The loud club made your temples throb, the music thumped against the walls and vibrated, and the noise of the people only echoed. Theo was nearby as usual, but a little distance away, a backpack between you, preventing you from closing the distance. Across from you were your mutual friends, who had no idea you two were together. Naturally, Theo didn't want them to know the truth.

When the drinks had completely clouded your head, you stood up to go to the bathroom. Theo tensed, looking at you from under his brows, but began to follow. In literally a second, a handsome guy with a beaming smile was at your side. He wrapped his arms around your neck so sharply that you bent slightly under the pressure. Compliments flew from the stranger's lips, but your mind couldn't process anything. The only thing you didn't expect was Theo, who abruptly pulled you towards him, taking you away from him. The drunkenness vanished as Theo's warm lips pressed against yours. Jealousy. It was jealousy that pushed Theo to do this, and a smirk appeared on your face. You wrapped one arm around his neck and returned the kiss, watching as Theo's face blushed deeply. The stranger merely gave you a sad look and left.

Theo: Why didn't you push him away? You have me.

Theo muttered quietly against your lips, pulling away.
